I met a friend for lunch here last week, my food came out quickly and was hot. Unfortunately my chicken was red on the inside. I asked for another and it was fixed. The girl taking my order that day was extremely friendly and was very caring about my issue. My friends simple burger took 15 mins to get out, other orders made after hers were out before hers.

Now, I'm not writing this review about that particular day, because all in all I was satisfied with my care that day.

Feb 5th at 7:00 PM I stopped at the driver thru- lane 2 to order dinner. Everything was going well until I decided to add an item to my order. The girl seemed annoyed but added the order and told the back people. The total came out to $15.73, I handed her the $15 and was grabbing change for the 73 cents. Anyone with nails knows the frustration of trying to get your coins out of the coin holder. It literally took me 1-2 mins to get the 73 cents from the coin holder. I'm guessing the manager or someone in charge for the night got frustrated about this, I just didnt want to break bigger Bill's when I had the change to get rid off. She comes to the window and LOUDLY asks what the hold up is, the drive thru girl replies that I'm taking my time with my change. I got to hand the manager or whatever this woman was my 73 cents and asked her "73 cents right?", she does not reply she just jerks her hand and slams the window shut. They proceeded to hand my drink and food, slammed it again. No "have a nice day", or anything!

I would understand their frustrations if I was counting the whole $15 out in change, but to get irritated about 73 CENTS? AND NO IT WAS NOT ALL IN PENNIES.

I then drove 30 mins home and my order was wrong. Maybe if they would have taken that time to check orders instead of pester me about hurrying up this review would have went alittle bit...

My friends and I were excited to try this place because of all the good things one of them heard about it at work and the good reviews online but after eating here I was quickly disappointed with what you get even for the price.

A "platter," what seems to be their signature menu item and that includes an entree, two sides, and a drink, is $5.02 after tax (the food without a drink is $3.00 plus tax). When I saw this pricing I was excited but that excitement shortly fizzled out once I received my food.

The pricing of the food is not a great bargain or some oversight; it is simply in line with the portion sizes. I got onion rings and chicken nuggets as my sides and received a whopping four onion rings and an incredibly generous three chicken nuggets which did not at all impress me and made me feel slightly cheated. In addition, I ordered the grilled Cajun chicken sandwich as my entree and it had an overwhelming beefy grilled taste which made it hard to finish and not very good since I've never liked the taste of hamburger and do not eat beef.

Overall if you want to visit a country eating establishment with a somewhat nice but crowded atmosphere that serves acceptable food and that has bible verses printed on their styrofoam cups then this is the place for you, but if you want to eat somewhere that is cheap and that will actually fill you up with good food then Cookout is not the...

The prices are a great value here. Our service is ALWAYS friendly when we visit their drive thru. We like their burgers & onion rings. We’ve visited 10+ times since they’ve been open.

Today was mind blowing! We literally asked for the store manager come out to make him aware. Trey is a rock star!!! He is SO awesome. Six of us dined in. I can’t even list everything he did perfect but I’ll try in a brief synopsis. He confidently, and warmly greeted us right upon entry. He listened attentively and made recommendations when asked on our LARGE order. He nailed our difficult order in its entirety. Just when you think things couldn’t get any better, he magically appears right before our eyes in a beautiful table service that was so appreciated. Did I mention this is NOT a table service restaurant. Not according to Trey, he does it all! He was determined to take our experience to the next level, and not for one moment even having any idea of the fact that I am a highly ranked reviewer with google and an Elite Yelper.

Don’t know my current number of listed reviews here, somewhere around 300. Trey wins the gold metal for the service our family has received in the last several years. Thank you cook out for a job well done! Thank you for running your Christian based business and showing that in your actions or how you treat...

Fire the drive thru cashier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why does she have a job in customer service??????????? Edit: terrible experience four times in a row now. The night time cashier with the dyed red hair is so RUDE for no reason. They have messed my order up the past three times. It's always the same lady placing the order and she's always rude when I come back inside to have it fixed. Tonight I told her I wasn't dealing with her crap and left without finishing placing my order. Good job! What an asset you are! Seriously, the best fast food burger and chili cheese fries you can get, I get them Cajun style! The chili is spicy and it's always steaming hot. I usually pair it with a corn dog or Walking Taco as my second side. I got the Coke Float today. Can't beat the value here!!! Their Sweet Tea is always top notch!

The food is good and it is definitely a great price. The employees are friendly and the service is always fast. The sad thing is the nastiness of the restaurant. The floor was greasy and hard to walk on, tables were dirty, the trash cans were full and only one drink machine had ice and neither one had carbonation do our drinks were flat. My belief is if a restaurant doesn't care enough to clean what customers can see why would they care to clean what we can't see such as the kitchen. I just expected more of a major chain restaurant.

Cook Out used to be a great place for fresh food and a good value. Since the dining area has reopened, the prices have increased, the portion size has decreased and the self serve drink machine is gone. The photo shows their “Cook Out Tray” with two sides: one side is 1/2 cup of slaw and the other was 4 measley cheese bites. UPDATE: Hope screwing over your customers is worth it because I haven’t been back in the 8 months since this review was written. That’s at least 32 meals that I didn’t purchase there
