When this location (Sugar Hill) opened up a few years ago, they had excellent customer service and rarely messed up orders, if at all. Not sure what happened or when that changed, but here it is.
I went through the drive thru June 12th at 7:30am. I ordered 2 bacon and egg wakeup wraps with no cheese and a glazed donut. I confirmed with the attendant on the speaker NO CHEESE, because my hatred for American cheese runs deep and I don't want it all over my food. Something told me to verify again when I pulled up to the window. So, I get to the window and the attendant doesn't greet me, just tells me my total and takes my payment while she's chit chatting with the other drive thru attendant. I once again confirmed with her my order, 2 bacon and egg wakeup wraps, no cheese. She said yes, no cheese. Now, I should've opened my bag and checked my food, but I was kind of in a rush and had to go get air in one of my tires, so I didn't check. Tell me why I grab one of my wakeup wraps and there's melted American cheese all over it? I won't lie, I had a crash out in the car by myself about this. Anyway, I talk myself off the ledge and convince myself it's not a big deal, it's too late to go back, and I'll just eat them. So I bite into the first wrap and something is off, but I take another bite. After the second bite, I realize there is NO EGG in the BACON AND EGG wrap I ordered. Just bacon and cheese. It literally felt like I was eating salt out of a spoon. I then checked the second wrap and same thing. Can someone please explain to me the obsession with putting cheese, especially American cheese, on everything? Because it's not just Dunkin, it's literally everywhere.
Anyway, they get 2 stars because the donut was delicious and fresh. The customer service could have been better. After the attendant handed me my food, prepared incorrectly, she didn't say boo, just turned around and continued her conversation with the...
Read moreIssue: Charging for water even when you are their regular loyal customer. Totally disgusted: Ordered 2 hot lattes which were made cold when I clearly order Extra HOT, No Foam, & No Room. I don't employees care or listen. I didn't think of bothering them because they have high turn-around with employees. However, another thing that truly ticked me off with this establishment was their mgmt. and cashier (mgr lady named veepee and cashier named Trevor). When I requested 2 cups of tap water with my order of $8.56, they stated to me that they would be charging me $0.50 each. I reminded them that I'm not a freeloader and that I'm their regular customer and that I have never been charged or told such before. Keep in mind, I was here 2 weeks ago and there was NO such comments/policy then. Oh, I immediately regretted my decision to shop at this establishment as I had already paid with my C.Card and told them that I'm never coming back and that I'm never ordering from this Dunkin & BR again. Manager insisted that it was Company's policy and I know it's not because I have shopped at this place many times before and they have never ever charged me for cup of water. Believe me, I'm so not shopping at Dunkin Donuts & Baskin Robbins any more if that's the case. I'm disgusted by these folks running the show here that I'm done. I even know the Ismaili South Asian family that owns such franchises and I truly hope they aren't implementing such ridiculous stances/policies. This is my last time shopping at Dunkin & BR. Never again. I'm done forever with this establishment. I sent this review to Dunkin Corporate and will be posting it on...
Read moreWhile most of the time I have a GREAT experience at this Dunkin' - this morning was LESS THAN GREAT. I wanted to split my payment between cash and paying the balance with my app. I paid $10 cash and then wanted to pay the $2.25 balance with my app. I clearly had $10 left on my app. While my app was scanned it did not take the money - for whatever reason. I tried to explain to the lady at the drive thru window that there was money on my app and I didn't understand what was happening. What really caused my dissatisfaction with this visit was that the owner then came to the window and verbatim said "Pay me my $2.25!". It was rather insulting that she thought that I was not going to pay my balance but instead made a demand that I PAY HER HER MONEY. While I do not necessarily believe that the customer is always RIGHT I do think that as the customer (and a human) I should be treated with some basic respect and not treated as if I am not...
