The manager Rich is super understanding and kind, so the stars I did give are for him. Saturday night around 9:30 (they close at 11) went for dinner and drinks, it’s Saturday so I understand that they were relatively busy earlier that night. Waiter seemed over exerted with the number of tables he had, I didn’t even get acknowledged after being seated by the hostess for about 15 minutes, waited very patiently, finally was able to put in a drink order: water and a mojito with raspberry flavor and ordered my appetizer.
The mojito came after about 20 minutes, it wasn’t raspberry flavored, just plain. I let the waiter know and he really had no response as to why it wasn’t correct aside from an awkward stutter. He offered to take it back and have it flavored, I declined in fear that I wouldn’t get it back for another 30 minutes. So I kept the mojito plain, then ordered my entree w/ 2 sides plus side salad. Mojito wasn’t bad. Appetizer came shortly after, hot & satisfying.
Still no water though, despite reminding the waiter the couple of times that he was sighted passing by the table. No water, no biscuits, no side salad. By this time I had been seated at least an hour. But here comes the entree to the table. The entree plate was missing my mashed potato side. The broccoli side was present but ice cold. The seafood on the plate was however, not bad. I went ahead and started eating the entree but kindly reminded the waiter that I had not received the salad nor any biscuits. He again, awkwardly stuttered and offered to bring them, I said no it’s okay since I wasn’t necessarily hungry for them anymore but he insisted.
Finally got some water 75% into my meal. The biscuits he insisted on arrived, burned on the bottom. The salad also came, bowl was dirty, no dressing provided. Didn’t even care at that point but I did point both items out to the waiter since he was finally more visible since most of the other guests had left. It was 11pm and they were closing. He was not apologetic, just made an excuse for why things were going wrong. So I asked the waiter for the manager, this is when Rich came over and listened to my grievances, and offered to cover the charges for the entire dinner and drink. Very accommodating however I will never return to...
Read moreAfter a 9 hour drive, my mom and I decided to stop at Red Lobster. It was 30 minutes before they were supposed to close. The manager and the hostess greeted us and welcomed us in. The hostess, Ms Barbara, was very courteous and patient with me and my 76 year old mother. She even took her time to make sure my mom was comfortable and even allowed us to switch to a table instead of the booth after my mom tried sitting at the booth but didn’t feel comfortable. This whole time we never felt rushed, instead we felt like special guests. Our server, Ms Wanda, came over and was just as friendly, polite and helpful as the hostess. She also took her time to answer our questions about the menu. By now it is 15/20 minutes before closing but we never felt pressured or rushed. In fact, Ms Wanda was so personable and engaging. We asked for suggestions and were very satisfied with her recommendations. The food came out in a timely manner and the presentation was great too. The food was also hot and delicious. Ms Wanda groomed the table and refilled our beverages without being prompted by us. One of the other servers, Aalia, was also very friendly. This was some of the best service we have ever experienced and my family and I eat out at least twice a week. We spoke with the manager, Ms Sharlene and the hostess before we left and was allowed time to tell them our story about traveling all day and really wanted somewhere to sit down and enjoy a meal. Again, we did not feel rushed nor did we feel like we were annoying the staff. We were visiting Atlanta to attend a funeral so experiencing service like this really made a difference and a lasting impact. We will definitely stop by again the next time we are visiting family in Atlanta. Thank you ladies! Job well done! Your service and care for people is...
Read moreMy fiance took me here on mothers day and it was a terrible experience. I ordered my meal (from a great waitress by the way, she was the only pleasant experience) and we waited way too long for it. While we waited, a woman with a very dissatisfied expression across from us seemed to have a manager at her table that took and replaced 2 of her and her companions dishes from their meal each. That was unsettling but due to the fact we were not sure exactly why their dishes were replaced we continued to wait. While our waitress came back to our table to apologize for our wait we decided to also order some signature drinks to hold our nerves about our food. Once our meal finally came, the portions I had were upsetting. I could finishes my mashed potatoes in 2 bites. Also the temperature of my steak was not what I asked for. As a person who eats medium well to well done, cutting into a rare steak was such a disappointment. Informing my waitress, she took my steak back to the kitchen and she returned with the same one I cut into and told me they refired and I should be happy.. No, my steak was warmed up because as I cut into it again, it was the same. By now my family has finished their meals and I'm still waiting on the main part of my own meal. They also left our good waitress out to fend for herself because she couldn't even believe they were sending me the exact same steak back and forth still without the correct temperature. Finally, just upset and walking out, I let my fiance handle they situation and he came to the car with a carry out bag of the main portion of my meal done by a new cook finally at correct temperature that I had to eat...
