Please overstand that these workers are all good. Moreover these are noteworthy in every way: Justin, Perry and Ty! The way people handle their jobs and my food is important to me. I would never want their goodness and extra miles to please me to go out as waisted energy. So let me say this: since I entered the place Justin is one of the ones who introduced me to the menu and gave me some more items to consider eating and now has be come part of my routine food to enjoy besides the salads I like so much. Justin makes sure my food is served with a smile no matter how busy he is. Perry is always ready to help with any of my needs. I catch him restocking a lot and assisting the workers. I would not be surprised if both Justin and Perry are managers because they take a huge personal interest in satisfying each customers in line with me. There is never a long wait with them. Even when there is a wait of any type,,, it never feels inconvenient it feels pleasant and they keep you entertained just watching them work or with conversations. Last but not least, Ty is…….. super impressive and heartwarming. I wanted nothing sweet to eat at this visit and Ty suggested the fried cheesecake to me with strawberry drizzle. Of course I could not say no. Now I’m hooked. Future visits are like this- immediately when I see her at the cash register——- I do focus in my food I want and then I blurt out fried cheese cake with strawberry drizzle cause it just comes out of my mouth- I have no control. So Ty is not helping my diet anymore, although she is so caring and super knowledgeable and helpful with each order. I really like her unique style of questioning to get info for her orders. Its a style that she must have adapted earlier on. I’m going to use it in my daily life. I never ask if she is a supervisor and I'm sure she is too. These three are the most caring people I have ever seen. They dont just greet me, they get into my head and taste buds to make sure I’m happy at the table. Did I say the food here is delicious? Oooooh yea- amazingly prepared- so compliments to the chefs that I can not meet and...

You can pick a table and scan the QR code to see the menu or pick a menu up from the counter, but you have to go back up to the counter to place your order and pay.
My two granddaughters and I ordered the spinach artichoke dip, Polly's seafood platter, Cajun shrimp and grits, and Louisiana shrimp po-boy with the sweet cream cornbread as a side.
The dip was great, the seafood platter we got with whiting, fried shrimp and crawfish tails, with tater tots as the side, and all were enjoyable. My granddaughter did not want the lettuce or tomato on her po boy, so she only wanted pickles and sauce.
Thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and grits. However, my complaint is tails on the shrimp which I cannot stand when getting shrimp and grits. Some restaurants leave tails on, others have the tail removed, which is the way I prefer, as it's easier to eat the shrimp along with the grits.
One other issue is the spinach artichoke dip. The Monterey Jack topping was just too thick, so when dipping a chip, it's hard to get through the cheese, so your chip will keep breaking. We primarily ended up scooping with a spoon onto the chip. However it was tasty.
Overall good portion sizes on everything. We ended up carrying out half our meals....just too much, meaning good leftovers for dinner! And we were greeted upon entry so that's a plus! Will try to stop again when we're...

I just devoured a fish platter with flounder nuggets (yes, I got my flounder cut into nugget form because I’m fancy like that), fried shrimp, and fried scallops which I had for the first time and let me tell you, those little crispy bites of joy changed my life. I saw the light. I had a moment. Scallops, where have you been all my life?!
The fried food here is top-tier! crispy, golden, never greasy, always flavorful. It tastes like somebody’s grandma back there is frying with love, but with the precision of a five-star chef. The portions? HUGE. You’re not leaving hungry. You’re leaving full, happy, and already thinking about your next order.
Now, I always place my order to go (because I like eating in my comfy pants at home), but they do have seating inside, and it’s super clean and always busy, which is a great sign. And let’s talk about customer service, because these folks know how to treat people! Always friendly, always on point, making sure your order is right and your food is fresh.
Bottom line? If you haven’t been to Fork in the Road, you’re doing life wrong. Get yourself there, order something fried or grilled that have it! Vegetarian..? Try the Beyond burger , and prepare to enter flavor paradise. Thank me later.
