Hi my name is Staci Dean and on today August 11, 2024 around 10:35am -11am my family and I decided to go to this location (Panera Bread) this would be our 3rd time here (first 2 experiences were wonderful and I thank you for that.) Today was not so good at all with our food and with our cashier (Mrs Debra.) As we arrived we walk in and we get greeted by the staff (thank you), we walk up and start to place our order and the cashier starts talking over us not letting us finish what we have to say for our order, for example, I'm ordering a garden avocado toast with extra garlic sauce on top before I could say extra garlic sauce on top she says extra all seasoning on top and types that on her computer , so I finish the sentence anyway by saying no ma'am extra garlic sauce on top. Another problem with her was , we were trying to do a 2 payment method, meaning half cash and half card, during the process you can see her getting irritated so I start to look around for someone to help her because she didn't know what she was doing and instead of asking for help from one of her co workers she decides to take matters in her own hands and THROW my card back to me and tell us to swipe. So my husband picks the card up that she threw to us , it was at that point I got irritated and grabbed the card from him and asked her why did she throw my card back to me , she laughed and didn't say anything. Now let's talk about my avocado toast, I wish I would have took pictures of it! Barely any avocado and everything was just thrown in there sloppy 🤢 😞. When I say sloppy I mean it look as if they didn't care at all , like how could you serve that to someone or how could you want to give something that looks all sloppy and not right to a customer. I was very disgusted and in disbelief but I still turned around and walked back in there with respect and just asked for my money back. I showed the young lady with the red shirt my avocado toast and asked for my money back and instead of her offering to remake it or apologize give my money back and just give me one for free for how bad my order look, she apologized and gave me a refund which I couldn't be upset about that due to me losing my appetite from all the disappointment and the sloppy food. I will contact my lawyer and see what can be done cause at this point I don't know if Mrs. Debra was being racist or what ? I mean we even asked for toasted asiago bagels and get to our hotel room just for them not to be toasted. Wow. Very...
Read moreI used to love this Panera because the service was great from the hospitality to efficiency, but the last two times I visited, it wasn’t so great. I’m not sure if it’s because of new staff, but my orders have been wrong two times in a row now. The first time, it was a busy day, so service was slower, and per usual, I had checked it before I left, so I caught the missing item, and I had no complaints.
This last time, which was today, it was slow, with 6 employees working in the back, and no one ahead of me or after me, but my order was almost completely botched. They had ran out of chips for my three orders and also ran out of romaine for my salad order, but I understand that happens. However, out of the three apples they gave me, two were all bruised and nearly rotten… What made me leave a 2 star review is because I ordered a WHOLE grilled cheese and I don’t know if the person who made the sandwich didn’t read the order correctly, but she made some kind of chicken sandwich, and it was HALF.
I didn’t realize this until I came home so I ran back without touching the food and they made a grilled cheese for me. They offered me a free pastry on the house and another sandwich, but I did not want that because it was a huge inconvenience for me to come back when I had ordered all the food I needed. An extra sandwich is just a waste of food. A voucher for next time would’ve served any customer better.
Had it been a busy day, I wouldn’t have left this negative review, since I know mistakes happen, but it was a slow day with everyone behind the counter and an error...
Read moreAgree with previous post that this is one of the worst managed locations in the area. They have no idea how to properly staff for busy times or how to to control customer flow, and the general manager is lacking in customer service skills. I understand about having a "computer glitch" as the reason why there is only 1 cash register open for 10-15 minutes approaching the lunch hour. But when you finally open another register, don't let customers walk up ahead of everyone else waiting in line. When I asked the manager, Michelle Prior, which register I should go to since I had been waiting for 10 minutes, she told me that "either one will work" and that I could do what I like. I made a suggestion in front of customers (who had also been waiting) of how to make sure that customers who had been waiting were served first, she responded (with a definite attitude) "Thank you for the suggestion, sir." When I later asked for her name, Ms. Prior wanted to know if there was "something she help me with." Obviously, this is a management training issue. I normally would let an episode like this pass, and I almost never bother to write negative reviews. However, this is not the first time I have experienced similar issues at this location. Invariably they are understaffed, especially at the registers at rush times. Probably trying to keep payroll down. Other than that, the food is typical Panera fare - mediocre, at best. I only go here because my...
