I have never been disappointed in a meal from KFC. It is reserved as a special treat in my 2-person household. The price used to mean a huge bagful of deliciousness that would last us through three days of meals and a snack or two. I just don't know what happened. I ordered through the website and it was ready almost instantly. I happened to be in the parking lot completing my order (after running inside to ask if there were any specials and rejected rudely by the cashier), so I pulled around to the drive thru. He asked the name on the order and I was informed that it was not ready and I should drive around and park. I noticed on the website that the time had changed to a time about 10 minutes later. Ok. Cool. That'll mean it's fresh. No. About 2 minutes after parking, the same guy who snubbed me earlier & who answered the intercom was asking another car if that was their order. I overheard him say "I can't pronounce your name". I knew it was mine. The bag was tiny comparatively speaking. There were no utensil, napkins. It was my order and the contents were correct. But it was as though they had taken all the flavor out of the original recipe maybe in trying to reduce sodium. IDK. And instead of shopping for meaty chicken they took the discounted birds. Used to be you had to work to keep the lid on the chicken. My lid was halfway down inside the bucket. My two mashed potatoes were inside the bucket with the chicken. One gravy tasted watered down. If there are 2 kfc's in this area, the other one must be...
Read moreThe employees are always so sweet and the food tastes good, only issue I have occasionally is if you order a family meal or a large order you are asked to drive around and park and they bring your order out to you shortly, which I'm absolutely fine with, it's not an issue to wait a few minutes because honestly they have my order out to me in 5 minutes tops! I'm typically in a hurry and I don't have time to go through every single bag, box and containers to check my entire order, so when I finally get to my destination I'm somewhat disappointed when I realize that I paid for 4 or more extra biscuits, but I am only given 4 and sometimes ZERO! I'll end up with completely different sides than what I ordered and usually ask for sauces before leaving the drive thru and get home and realize that I have none of the sauces at all. I don't bother to call and complain because not only is it a good 20 minute drive back to the restaurant if they offer to give me the missing items, I also really do like the employees and I know that it was a mistake and nothing intentional. Also I notice that they are sometimes overwhelmed and short staffed, but overall really nice people and my food is always great. Regardless of a few missing items on occasion, I always return and still recommend this particular...
Read moreI went to this KFC in May 2024 and literally opened the pickup bag at the counter to make sure the breast that my elderly parent ordered was in the four piece meal and the cashier pointed to a thigh. (I don’t eat meat or chicken so I don’t know the difference.) She also tried to cheat me out of a biscuit. The meal comes with two biscuits and there was only one in the box. I complained and she said, “It only comes with one.” Another employee stepped up to correct her and dropped another biscuit in and she just turned away. Meh.
I get to my dad’s house (20 minute drive each way) and he’s like, “There’s no breast here.” I immediately called the store twice and NO ANSWER. That’s convenient. BTW, it was 7:30 PM. They were open.
I then called the KFC 1-800 line and go through that whole mess and they transferred me to the “Refund Line,” that doesn’t pick up after holding for 10-15 minutes. Two 1-800 calls later (the Refund line NEVER answered) and after I personally escalated the complaint and I’m supposedly getting a partial refund. Talk about poor customer service! I’ll be deleting the KFC app (that I downloaded to order this meal) as soon as the refund processes. Hard pass.
BTW, no Beyond chicken meal options for plant based eaters at this...
