So this isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience at this location but I figured I’d give it one more shot. I should’ve gone with my gut. My kids and I had a nice day and figured we’d splurge and stop and eat before we head home. We walked in and it was dead but yet we waited and waited before we were even acknowledged even though a few employees saw us standing there. We were seated in the bar area and waited again. Finally the bartender came over by the way she wasn’t busy with patrons so no excuse as to why it took so long and the restaurant was dead. She took our drink and app order and said she’d be back. We got our drinks and waited and waited and waited and some nice young gentleman brought our app after a long amount of time. Which I can assume the cook was not having a good day. Our cheese fries looked like a small order with barely any cheese and been sitting under the broiler a little too long. Finally our waitress came to take our order. A burger, the bloomin chicken and I had the fried shrimp appetizer. We wait and wait and wait and I mean we are waiting. No one comes by to ask to refresh our drinks anything. Finally food comes.. burger and chicken. The lady who brought the food asked me what I had ordered because our waitress won’t come to our table anymore. And I told her the fried shrimp appetizer. I can only assume that it was forgotten because that has happened to me before twice. After about 8 minutes my dish finally arrives. All the food is inedible. My son’s burger is actually so greasy that it’s sliding off the bun! I kid you not! Slid off the bun but he was so hungry he tried to eat a bit. He ate a quarter of it and couldn’t eat anymore. My daughter couldnt eat her food. No flavor in the Mac and cheese in either of sides and her chicken was so thinly floured you couldn’t taste the seasoning.( I’ve had that before and it’s usually thicker battered) my shrimp felt like it soaked up half the oil . No one still came by to see how we were doing. I had to paid the bill on the table top tablet and we left all our food behind. We all came home sick and my son ended up throwing up. We will NEVER come back to this establishment again. You couldn’t pay me. I hate leaving bad reviews and I actually don’t but I had to on this one. $87...
Read moreMy friend and I went to this place yesterday for lunch. The hostess was very pleasant and I just knew that, based on her, our experience would be great. Our server Anija, came to our table, she seemed pleasant and she answered any questions we had at the time. That’s the only she did that was pleasant, I ordered wings as an appetizer and my friend ordered the potato soup. We weren’t offered water, but that was okay as I don’t usually drink restaurant water unless it’s bottled. I got my wings, they were delicious and we got our drinks, (my friend still hadn’t received her soup). I then ordered a wedge salad, I got my salad, (my friend still hadn’t received her soup). My entree came and my friend FINALLY got her soup. We didn’t see Anija for a long while, so I had to ask the hostess to get any items that I needed. I told her from the beginning that we wanted split bills, surprise surprise, when we went to pay our bill, they were not. She seemed to have an attitude any time she was asked anything. I overheard another table ask her a question about an item on the wall and she gave him a dismissive answer. “I don’t know I just work here, or something to that effect “. Then of course she forgot my dessert and I had to go back inside for it, again the hostess had to find her and when she handed me the bag she didn’t seem happy and walked off without apologizing for forgetting it. I just laughed because, tips are the majority of their money and she controls how much she makes. That nasty attitude will get her NOTHING, as it got her nothing from us yesterday. I should’ve tipped the hostess as she did more for us than Anija did. We won’t be back, the wings and the salad were the highlight of my meal, and the ribs were...
Read moreNormally it's a good place to eat. Literally am sitting in the booth writing this review. Walk in and we were told the kitchen is behind and that we would be better off sitting at the bar. When we said we didn't want to caught an attitude. Less than a minute later we were sat.
Our waitress was cleaning a table next to us and said I'll be right with you. Then she disappeared. Several minutes passed And when she returned she stopped and had a conversation with another table. Another waitress asked if we had been taken care of and my wife said "We were told our waitress would be with use a while ago but can we get something to drink?" She went to our waitress told her our drink order and we heard her tell the other table that she would be back she had to check on "the other" table.
We ordered Aussie fries and when received the cheese wasn't even melted like normal.
We received a salad with no tomatoes for some reason and within a minute received our food. My wife had the Alice chicken witch was not cooked all the way and was not eaten. I had a steak and shrimp. My steak was undercooked and had a weird smell. I cut it in half and left it on my plate. Also both of our potatos were only half cooked. The best part of the meal was actually the shrimp.
When she came back I asked for a check and I was not asked was anything wrong with both of our meals but only do you want a to go box? Like if I didn't take a single bite of a steak do you really think I would take it with me.
The worst part was the attitudes from everyone. Even our waitress complained about her cooks. 50 bucks later we had a date night away from our 5 kids be a total let down of a meal.
I find it weird that a Tuesday night at outback steakhouse could...
