I was expecting a lot more from a two month old restaurant.
I did an online check in for our table just to get to the host to find out they sat someone else with our check-in. She asked if we had already been sat, I said no, they called another host and had to scramble to find us a table. That should have been the first clue this evening wasn't going to go well..
We sat and ordered and it took a VERY long time for us to even get drinks. We had a bar drink that arrived with melty ice where it had clearly been sitting and waiting to get picked up. Our appetizer arrived just moments before our entrée after we sat waiting 20 minutes just for a bowl of salad. When she did finally bring it, she brought no salad plates. So we got to sit and stare at a bowl of salad for 10 minutes waiting on plates only for us to find several long hairs in the actual salad. Cue another 10 minute wait for just a salad. Someone else had to get our drink refills at this point because our server was MIA. Once the food arrived, the Tour of Italy had a burnt wad of lasagna, dry crusty noodles with a little drizzle of alfredo sauce on it, and a dry overcooked piece of chicken. We had to get management involved at this point. I can excuse a lot of things about a poor dining experience, but this was just way too many at once. For a brand new location, this was absolutely unacceptable. We live less than 10 minutes away from this place, but I would probably still drive the 30 minutes to go to the location by Cumberland. I doubt this restaurant will see our business again.
First impressions are a big deal, and this one did...
Read moreA few years ago all 4 in my family decided that we wouldn’t go back to OG. The food is consistently subpar and the salads have very few olives. We decided to go 9/7/25 because we wanted to try this new location and for my daughter’s birthday. We were seated quickly, the server came shortly after to take our orders and after that it went downhill. When we were seated I informed the hostess of the birthday. She told me to tell the server. I informed the server when he came. We heard them singing the birthday song at a nearby table, so I was now very excited for our little girl. After we had gotten half way through our food and no one came to sing, I reminded the waiter of the birthday. By the time we got take away plates, paid, packed up and left, no one had come to sing. 3 of the 4 plates were horrible. I had the Tour of Italy and the chicken parm and lasagna were very salty. My wife’s eggplant parm was very salty. She had to take it home to “doctor” it. The birthday girl, who loves pizza btw, couldn’t finish it because she said all of the cheese came off. Bad pizza and no one sang for her, the birthday girl’s experience was not a shining moment. We asked for extra olives for the salad and didn’t get them until we were packing our to go boxes. Now we know we’re DEFINITELY NOT...
Read moreMy friend and I came here today around 4:30. There were SO many servers just standing around, etc. I understand that the restaurant opened not too long ago but it felt overwhelming when I came in to wait for my friend’s arrival. Once seated, we waited 10 minutes and NO one acknowledged us or took our drinks. Again, there were tons of servers in the front. Finally I got up and told the hostess that no one had taken our drink orders. She ended up just following me back and taking our drink orders and she said “a server will be right with you.” So many servers passed and kept walking, some saw us with menus, and still no one came. 5 mins…10mins. We finally got up and walked to the door. My friend spoke to the manager about the disappointment we felt due to the lack of service while 6 servers were just standing around listening. The manager apologized and asked us if we would like a server to come service now she will send them right away. We said no, and we were leaving. We walked across the street to Longhorn and within two minutes our server had already gotten our drink orders. It’s all about customer service. I will not be visiting this establishment again. I was so excited that there was one by my job, but I’ll just wait till I get to my side of town and go to the...
