I arrived at the restaurant at 10:12 and the drive thru line was backed up on to the road. We were going to come in and order but dining was closed, which was very hard to identify unless you walked up to the doors. In the nearly 20 minutes we were in line, several people parked and tried to go inside only to find locked doors. Once we finally made it to the point of ordering, one of the 2 lane was blocked off. "How can I help you" was the entire way we were greeted and I could hear that repeated for other cars as well. There was no, "welcome to McDonald's" or apology for the wait time. She did not repeat our order back, just simply said, "$6.15" and nothing else. Once we eventually made it to the first window to pay, a young man apologized for the wait time and was kind and personable even though he like had been having numerous frustrated customers that morning. When we got to the 2nd window we were never greeted. Two young ladies stood inside the window looking on the phones and talking to each other but never said a word to us. We sat at the window for over 4 minutes wondering where our food was (a small simple order too) and I couldn't even get their attention to ask. Finally, one of them opened the window and stuck a box or and practically dropped it in to my car window. Again, never said a word even when I tried to ask if it was my order. She just pulled her hand in and quickly shut the window again. This entire experience, minus the young man at window 1, was an absolute failure of customer service. The lack of communication is a direct reflection on leadership not leading or incomplete and/or improper training. This team works in the customer service business and there was absolutely none present! It took half an hour to drive thru a McDonald's for an order of hotcakes, sausage, and 2 hash browns. And then to get such a lack of anything resembling customer service is extremely frustrating and should be considered...
Read moreAbsolutely awful. I got in line two vehicles from the order menu at 5:36 PM. I specifically looked at the time because I wanted to pick up my son at 6 PM less than 10 mins away. It took 10 mins just to get to the window to pay. I briefly considered just telling them I needed to leave and not pay but the two vehicles in front of me pulled off quickly. I got to the window waited then was asked to pull up. I asked to speak to a manager. Stephanie was the manager on duty and she was one of the rudest people I have ever come across. I was telling her that I needed my food so I could pick my son up or a refund and just stopped halfway. She looked at me the whole time like I was nothing but an inconvenience. So I stopped and asked who her boss was.
I was in line for 25 mins until I got my food at a FAST FOOD establishment and not one person apologized or acted as though I was anything but a massive inconvenience. I was not rude to anyone until I saw a manager looking at me like I was a complete waste of time. I said please and thank you when ordering despite no one saying that to me. I don't expect that necessarily but I do expect to not be treated like I am a problem because I chose to spend my money at an establishment. If ONE person had treated me otherwise I would not be so mad. There is absolutely no reason Stephanie should be a manager if she can't handle someone being frustrated that their order is taking over 20 minutes at a fast food drive through. Honestly just an "I'm sorry" would have went a long way. I would still be frustrated but I understand things don't always go well. However, you can ALWAYS treat your customers like they are paying for the service and product....
Read moreAVOID THIS LOCATION! This McDonald's location has let me down multiple times, but I will only discuss my previous 2 visits. The second to last visit, we arrived around 10:45, and the restaurant was just beginning to serve lunch. We were anticipating that the food would be fresh, but our burgers were cold, and the buns were so hard we could not eat them. The last visit, just a few nights ago, we waited in the drive-thru for approximately 15 minutes. We heard the person in front of us order, but when we pulled up to the window the worker told us they were closed. The time was exactly 10:55 PM. Their website clearly states that the location does not close until 12:00 AM. I commented that I had been in line for 15 minutes, the least they could have done was send out a worker to alert us of an early closing. The drive-thru worker did not even bother to apologize for the inconvenience. This is the epitome of terrible customer service. I will not return to this location, and likely any McDonald's. Don't settle for poor service just because the industry standard is so low. Most of our fast food companies could learn a few things regarding customer service just from observing Chick-Fil-A. No wonder fast-food franchises are hurting across America. If nothing else, step-up and SERVE the customer with a smile and a...
