If you remember the tv show called America’s Most Wanted; someone named Jose with “DoorDash” could have made the list of “Most Wanted” for loosing and never delivering my $55.88 Panera Bread food order on Monday. In the past 2 months, this is the second time that Panera Bread have failed to deliver my already paid for food and would not give me a refund or explanations regarding the whereabouts of my missing food ordered, paid for and tipped. In my opinion, based on my recent experiences with Panera Bread; they could have a tv show and name it; “Lost and Never Found Food Orders Of Starving Disabled Senior Citizen”. The more I order from Panera Bread located at 1605 East-West Connector, Austell, GA the more I feel ripped off, disappointed, frustrated and discouraged with Panera Bread; especially with the rude, disrespectful management staff and, the so called “Panera Bread Complaint Line”. You might ask; why does she continue ordering from Panera Bread if she feels this way? I ask myself the same question. Unfortunately, as a disabled senior citizen with limited mobility, inability to safely go up and down my tri-level stairs, inability to safely drive and other debilitating medical conditions; I do not have family or friends I can call upon to help me with anything; let alone my daily meals. Because of their many Soup choices, Panera Bread was the best option for me given that I also have Diverticulosis, Gerd and Reflux Diseases. On average, I was ordering from Panera Bread 1-2 times per week and order enough to last me a couple of days. The managers on two separate occasions; were rude, disrespectful and couldn’t care less that I was very hungry. On Monday, I had also just been diagnosed with a torn meniscus; however resending my lost food on both occasions was not an option. I was told to call DoorDash but was not given a number. The DoorDash Rep. did not offer an explanation regarding the whereabouts of my $55.88 missing food. I was only told that their Driver had uploaded a photo of a house and the driver noted; “Not sure if this is the correct house or not”. My question to the DoorDash Rep. was; “why didn’t Jose call me if he was lost or whatever his issue was with finding my house” and didn’t he have a GPS? The Rep. agreed that the customer’s phone number is always on the order placed. To no avail, I asked the DoorDash Rep. to please email or text me the pic of the house the Drive; Jose uploaded or, tell me where I could find it to confirm my house or neighborhood. While the DoorDash Rep. ignored my request, he did provide me with a number to Panera Bread Complaints @ (855) 372-6372. While the lady who took my Complaint was apologetic for the incident; she informed me that she would credit my Panera Bread Account with three $20.00 credits. It was a take it or leave it with no other choices or options for refunding me for the $55.88 I paid for the lost food from Panera Bread. It was the same with my first lost food order. My $3.00 tip was also paid in the order to Jose. When I check my Panera Bread account, there was another $5.00 credit added. I guess that was partly for the $3.00 tip Jose got to keep. While I use the term lost food; I’m sure Panera Bread could have found my food in Jose’s stomach. After having two doctor’s appointments on Monday and arriving back home exhausted, extremely hungry and, in pain; Panera Bread chose to let me starve, refused to resend a new food order to me and did not treat me as a valued customer. While Panera Bread becomes richer; making millions and billions perhaps; I become older and more prone to theft of delivered food orders because of people like Jose and bad management. Plain and simple; my food was stolen. I have lost a lot ordering from Panera Bread located at 1605 East-West Connector, Austell, GA. Panera Bread have bad policies they use to keep their pockets lined by not refunding your money for lost food orders. These so called money credits have expiration dates attached. In the end the customer still lose and Panera Bread wins by making profits for lost...
Read moreOkay, enough is enough. I've been going to this Panera for YEARS. I've privately shared my concerns with management multiple times and still kept coming back because the people inside are mostly very nice. But I think they might need some assistance at this location and I'm hoping corporate pays attention. I feel like the desire to be great is there but maybe they're not getting the support from corporate that they really need. Today I ordered 2 oatmeals, 2 egg souffles and a large green tea/mango lemonade mix. I received a small green tea, 1 small oatmeal, and 2 ice cold egg souffles. I got the drink corrected and was given a second larger oatmeal before I pulled off. I got to my destination (across the street lol) and found my souffles were both burnt AND ice cold. I called to once again give my feedback privately, and the phone just rang and rang and rang. So, here I am, hoping corporate or someone in leadership will pay attention. 🤷🏾♀️
Service is really good but sometimes the portions can be a little meager. The steak egg and cheese breakfast sandwich definitely leaves much to be desired. You'll want to order something with it. The kiosks meant for speed and efficiency are rarely fully functional and when they do work, they're slow as molasses. But if there's no line, don't worry, the associates are top notch and most of them have an amazing sense of humor too. When using the drive thru, the associates there are cordial but they don't look particularly happy to be there. Their service is good and all, they're just not as friendly as the ones in the front. Not sure what that's about honestly. Other than that,...
Read moreI usually don’t leave reviews especially on fast dining places but I made time today. This location by far has the worst management i’ve been here several times over the past 2 weeks and it’s been bs every time. The employees don’t look happy to be there and they’re always sweating kinda gross . This one particular incident was the last straw for me I sat in the drive thru line for over 30 mins i finally get to the window and as the nice young lady (no name tags) is reading back my order the manager “Jennifer” stops the cashier to ask about a different order. The young lady tried to ignore her and finish cashing me out i guess she caught the clue because the manager looked at me and told the girl never mind and walked away. Very Rude and unprofessional like can i get cashed out before you start a conversation with your employee? Then i get my food the order is made wrong even though the receipt states the modified order i placed. I come in and ask for the manger the small quiet girl in the front goes to get her comes back (with no manager) i’m there another 30 mins waiting for the manger to come. SHE NEVER CAME i kept asking for updates the little girl kept saying she’s coming. I see the manager walks in the back otp then she disappeared again . Also while waiting I over hear two employees talking about another manager using inappropriate language so unprofessional for a Panera this location is ghetto not to mention every worker i seen had a dirty apron on. The dining room is always sticky as well and the tables are never clean, behind the window for the inside orders you can see dirty floors and over full trash FILTHY....
