Long post, but worth the read I wanted to stop by and rave about employee, Caitlin. I placed an online order today for pickup at 7:45pm, to redeem my free small peach cobbler because I was so craving it and I also had to make a quick store run to Grovetown. And I must admit, I drove clear across town from Martinez to pick it up and was within 5 minutes of Shane's when Caitlin called and said, "I'm sorry, it will be 30 minutes before the cobbler is ready and can I get you something else instead." I was immediately crushed because that was a big part of my visit to Grovetown and I was trying to make it back home before the NBA playoff game started, as well. A tad bit ticked off, I was like, nope and explained to her I really wanted the cobbler and did not want to wait, so I cancelled the order. Since it was a free redemption, she couldn't guarantee me that I could still use it at a later time, but offered to leave her name along with a note about the incident, for when I wanted to place the same order at a later time. So I declined and ended the call. I quickly came to my senses and realized, Caitlin didn't even have to call me and let me know in advance of this inconvenience, apologize for it and offer to fix it all within the same call. So I called her back and told her to keep the order because I was willing to wait. I must say it was worth the wait. It was hot, fresh and delicious and I also got to meet her and she was even more polite, professional and courteous in person. Kudo's to this young lady because she turned what started as a bad experience for me into a great experience. Read more12/31/2022-Everyone is very friendly, even under stress. This was New Year's Eve & they were slammed! However, they were very patient & helpful. Food is always excellent! I haven't found anything on the menu that I don't like. One poor fellow had waited over an hour for his meal to be delivered for takeout. There was a glitch in the computer system where it didn't deliver the order back to the kitchen. They sincerely apologized & offered him a free meal or a partial refund or anything he wanted to make it right. He was so kind & declined. I was very impressed they offered! 2/23/2023- took my Mechanic out to eat. He had never been here before. He told them his name was "Rich" but they brought us an order for "Rita!" Naturally it was not our order. Had to wait another 15 minutes for them to get it right. So all in all, we waited 30 minutes to get the right food. We dined in. Love the music! Love the atmosphere! Read more🤢🤢🤮🤯😵🥺🥺😳🥵🤮🤮Use to be outstanding in service and flavor. But the current staff appears younger and in experienced. Worst tenders I ever saw in my life. I had no interest 😕 in eating them. They looked like they were taken from the trash. So even though it was a grubhub order, I had to drive to the restaurant because the food was unbelievably UGH. 🙃 When I got there I stood for about 5 minutes before anyone addressed me. The manager told me as far as their standards were the tenders were still severable. But even she and three of her employees said if they were me they wouldn't eat them either. But the manager said she was doing as she was told because she didn't want to be yelled at. 😳 The term yelled at is so over used. Who yells at someone for serving edible food instead of old dried up hard tenders. I doubt if she's being YELLED at. Definitely the service has changed, employee selection has changed so why wouldn't the food change. This place used to be good. I was lasso hooked. Now this was my last rodeo. Never eating here again due to employees agreeing with my complaint but still saying serving unfit food...
