Im not from this area and i only stopped through to get a bit to eat. I have eaten at alot of bbq restaurants from Memphis, Alabama, and Georgia. When I say this is the best food I have ever eaten at you can take it to the bank! (Im not affiliated nor am I being sponsored) Nonetheless if I had the money like that. Im so confident in there food that im willing to even say if you dont like it ill personally give you a refund. As soon as you walk in the restaurant you can smell the smokey meat in the air. My waitress Mrs. Amber was attentive, funny, passinate, insightful and patient. The food came out quick. And it was top notch 10 out of 10!!!!! You can literally smell the smokeyness on the meat and the flavors and the juiciness was excellent. I ordered the $32 all you can eat babyback ribs, St. Loius, slice and choped brisket, dark and white chicken along with 2 sides okra and mac and chesse. My wife ordered the bbq salad. We also had the tator tot pull pork appetizer along with the pull pork egg rolls. My 4 girls had the lean brisket sandwitch and pull pork sandwich. Its so hard to say what was my favorite cause all of it was all so exceptional. But if I had to eat only 2 meats from this restaurant for the rest of my life it would be the baby back ribs and lean brisket. I could eat it all day every day breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner and dessert. My only disappointment was..... I wish i had enough room to eat dessert. That banna pudding looked good đ.... (I left the left overs in the car for 30mins while i ran in walmart and the car is...
Read moremy boyfriend and i liked coming here until this past visit. giving that it was a saturday night, it wasnât super busy. our server had one other table that was sat after us. there was four of us and when she brought our drinks to the table, she brought everyoneâs, except for one because she âforgotâ. took a while for our food to come and when it did it wasnât exactly hot. one of my boyfriends sides were missing and while we waited on that we had to look around for someone to ask for silverware while our food had just sitting in front of us. we also asked for napkins and never got them. not even half way finished with our meals, our server brings out the checks and instead of asking about refills, she asked about togo drinks and boxes. my friend actually wanted to order dessert but she ignored us until she saw our payments on the table when she walked by. we asked a guy that worked there and seemed like the manager if he was the manager and he replied with ânoâŠyesâŠwhat do you needâ. we told him the situation and he was talking to the server, laughing where we could clearly see them, and then never came back to the table. keep in mind our server was sat at her other table with another party of 4. she gave them great service. guess she thought we wouldnât tip, my friend and i both work in a restaurant and always leave goodâŠbut that was totally unacceptable. food was decent, experience was horrible....
Read moreWeâve been going to Sonnyâs BBQ in Commerce Ga for years. We stop at the restaurant today for lunch. My husband ordered the 1/2 chicken plate with baked beans, coleslaw and garlic bread. I ordered the 2 meat plate with a chicken breast with wing. I ordered ribs and paid the $2.99 extra. I asked the waitress to get me the center cut of the ribs she said ok. When she brought my food out she asked me to check the ribs that the garlic bread was laying over the ribs and she couldnât see what they looked like, so I looked at them. They were small, dried out and not the center cut. I told the waitress I couldnât eat them to please bring me what I asked for and she said she would. Well she finally came to the table and asked if we needed anything I said yes she never brought the ribs. She said the cook said they were fine and wasnât going to replace them I said that I wasnât going to eat them to take them back and just charge me for a 1/4 chicken plate. She brought a plate over and said you need to put the ribs on the plate so I can take them back to the cook I did and asked her would she eat the ribs and she said no! I love eating at Sonnyâs but I wasnât going to pay $2.99 extra for dried up ribs. I am very disappointed. I will never go back to that Sonnyâs and being treated the way I was treated again!!! I was pleased with the chicken, fried okra, sweet potato and baked beans, but I couldnât...
