I ordered bulgogi and seafood pancakes. My friend ordered number 8 which is a soup. My order was fine although the waitress had to come out and asked me again what I ordered for my dishes. My friend wasn’t too lucky, his dish turned out to be the number 14 which is a deep fried meat dish! Not what we ordered! We tried to tell the waitress that he ordered number 8. She refused to listen, kept telling us that that’s what he ordered. We didn’t want to argue with her so just shrugged and shook our heads. I felt bad in a way because if we asked them to make another dish, that meant they’d loose money on this wrong dish. So we kind of accepted and ate whatever this unwanted dish is. Imagine if you wanted soup and got served deep fried meat!
When she came to ask if everything OK, I said we did order number 8. We were already eating the meal, that meant we didn’t try to make her make another one for us. We just wanted her to know that we know what we ordered. At this point, she was furious and said “NO, that’s what HE ordered!” I said “I also told you he wanted number 8”. She said “then YOU ARE WRONG!” Wow, it just showed how important it is for her to be right than to provide a good experience! If she simply said “I’m so sorry”. We would just say “Well, it’s not what we want but that’s OK”. But that’s not the case.
I don’t care how good the food is, if it’s even THAT good, this will be the first and last visit for us! And for you, be careful, between number 8 and number 14, make it triple clear (because we did it twice, still failed). Or YOU...
Read moreMy first visit. The service was good and the waitress was very helpful in explaining the menu. I thought the restaurant was a Chinese restaurant, as advertised by the signage outside. It was not. It was a Korean BBQ restaurant per menu's description. What's the difference?? Evidently alot. I have visited many Chinese, Japanese, Thai and most other types of Asian restaurants... BUT never Korean BBQ.
I went with a chicken dish that came with 5 chicken wings, which was highly recommended by the waitress. First up was a unique type of soup which was hot and tasty... was unable to understand what kind it was. Next, a small tray with 3 types of spicy vegetables also came with the meal. Not bad, but cold. The main dish looked very nice...BUT it was cold and barely had any chicken in it. The soy garlic wings were tasty...but super small and extremely hard and overcooked. Best part of the meal was the hot mystery soup. In summary...the food was cold and mediocre at best... except for the hot soup. The portions were very small and the food was very expensive $$$$. Definitely not worth the money. Probably my last visit.
For a few dollars more at the Japanese restaurant right across the street, I could have had HOT fresh food cooked in front of me and had a second meal with...
Read moreOrdered delivery to our hotel. We got the $25 beef bulgogi hotpot meal and the dumpling ramen with a side order of fried rice for $18.
First issue was the beef meal didn't come with the listed salad, rice, and soup. When I called she said it's because they only serve those with dine in. Yet it's listed on the website with no differentiation for delivery and the meal is still the same price.
Second issue is the side order of fried rice we ordered with the dumpling ramen was substituted for the steamed white rice. Yes there is a minor price difference. As well as there only being two dumplings in the ramen. I'd expect a few more dumplings than that for the price.
Third issue is the customer service. When I called the night of the girl was very confused but said I should call the next day and she will refund me when the owner was there. Well I called and then was promptly hung up on.
The only positive thing I can say is that what little of our order we did receive was at least good.
All in all, 100% do not recommend. Poor customer service and blatant thievery being the...
