I work in the same area as this Starbucks and have been coming here multiple times a week for years. It’s just convenient. Today I walked in, ordered what I usually do: a chai latte, extra hot. I waited about 7 minutes for it to be completed only to find out it was sitting on the other side of the counter and my name was not called out. I drank the chai and it didn’t taste like anything. Just like heated up oat milk so I asked if it could be redone as I couldn’t taste the main component of the drink. The man, old tall black with glasses, remade it reluctantly and even though I was standing right there left the drink an arms length away from me and walked off. No words said. I didn’t even complain about anything. Just asked for it to be remade. I was planning on staying here to work on my laptop, but I tasted the latte and it still tasted off. No worries, maybe they changed their formula. But then I take a look at the cup lid the man gave me. I don’t know why anyone working food service would be so vindictive. Right near the lid opening, there is a stuck on hair on there and matcha stain all over the cup lid. It just looks old. I can’t even drink this or stay in the store anymore and I WONT be coming back. Convenience should not be a means for disrespect. Not to mention last week I ordered a latte, stayed to work on my computer for 1.5 hours (I was only one of two in the store, it was a slow day), and when I got up to ask for water they told me I had to buy something. Yeah, not sure what that man’s problem is or what is happening at this store but you can have the latte back. Not sure why they would purposely try and make someone sick for a simple request.

I placed a mobile order from this location today ( 6/26/24) only to realize that I had a piece of metal in my drink. I contacted the nearest starbucks which I believed was the one I had JUST ordered at. Unfortunately I contacted the wrong one, so when I walked back into the shop the manager “Kai” helped me but was VERY rude and unprofessional. She told me that in the future I needed to call first because they were not responsible to remake my drink, which of course I understand but when I explained that I accidentally contacted the wrong one she brushed me off. Even though the issue was a fault on them, she says that the issue was not for them to handle and should have been dealt with through customer service. She continued to give me an attitude and handled this situation in the worst way possible. Didn’t even apologize or seem like she cared about the fact that there was metal in my drink. VERY disappointed in this situation today.

Go here quite frequently as it is the closest Starbucks to my employment, but I have had a couple experiences here so now I'm driving to the second closest Starbucks to place my orders. One experience was and which I had ordered a spinach feta wrap, it only came with the egg. There was no feta no spinach and no tomato. I turned around and went back to place my order again, at which time I was offered a free replacement, but the second time around the sandwich had only egg and spinach and there was still no tomato or feta. I wasn't about to drive back again and place another order so I contacted customer care and they explained to me that these are premade sandwiches and they will try to track where in the manufacturing process the sandwiches aren't being made correctly.The most recent experience that I had, I went through the drive-through and ordered a sandwich and a coffee, when I got to the window and paid for my order I asked the lady at the cashier to please give me four quarters for a dollar. Her response to me was that she has to ask her manager. Then she came back and told me that she was not allowed to give me four quarters for a dollar. So upon leaving I contacted corporate who told me that this is not a Starbucks policy and this was in fact an example of someone having a bad day and poor customer care. Fast service, they remembered my usual order.

09/27/2016 UPDATE --- I wish I could give you even higher than the original 5 stars I posted. I visited the store on Scenic Hwy. and TRULY understand how amazing your staff and store really are.

Tonight, I was ignored by the three women working in the Scenic Hwy store. One lady was stocking the display fridge and the counter was so piled with crap, I couldn't get to the register to check out. The lady that did ring me up, did so as though I was an interruption. No thank you, no bag for my food, no receipt.

YOUR location at 316 and 120 ALWAYS provides EXCEPTIONAL service -except for the one time in the evening when you ran out of the Protein Bistro Boxes (Not really a big deal). You provide excellent service, even when the place is PACKED. There is one guy, when he hands me my order, thanks me and asks me to let him know if what he made me isn't PERFECT. That's SERVICE I TIP BIG FOR. I'll drive across town to your location for SERVICE before I darken the door of the Scenic Hwy. location again.
