All of the reviews are completely spot on regarding the horrible service. We saw the reviews but decided to check it our for ourselves. Our server, Latesha R was horrible. Not only was she not at all personable, she was very slow with the service and forgetful of our requests. She came to check on us only a few times while dining in. My brother had to get up a few times to advise someone we needed things because she was nowhere to be found. Not at one time did she ever asked us if we needed anything because 90% of the time, we had to flag her down for service. And when she did come, no words came out of her mouth; she just stood there waiting for us to tell her what we needed. A few ladies came in and sat at the table next to us. Latesha resurfaced and served them quickly and visited the table often until they left. It was obvious the ladies at that table were her friends, smh. We patiently waited approximately 30 minutes for her to come back to the table so that we could get our bill but of course, she never came back! We had to flag down another waitress to get her to bring us the bill.
On the other had, we were there for the Unlimited crab legs on Mondays. First, the restaurant does NOT offer any crab cracker tools. Also, they are very skimpy on the portions and they limit how much you get. There is a little gentleman that walks around the restaurant every 25 mins with a utility bucket of crab legs and put ONE “small” cluster of crab on your plate. The event is supposed to be from 4p-9p, however, they stopped serving them at 8:15p (they were not sold out).
We probably won’t visit this establishment again unless new owners come in and do a complete reset on the place. The drinks are pretty good, but the service and food is substandard. If im spending money, I would like to at the very least be treated like im valued as a customer. Its wayyy too many establishments in the Metro ATL area to waist money on horrible service and...
Read moreI live within a 5 mile radius of the Daiquiri Factory and I've been awaiting the grand opening and was anticipating on being a regular customer. Unfortunately my 1st experience was less than pleasant. The drinks and waitress were awesome!!! However I can't say the same about the quality of the food. I ordered the wings and waffle entree and I was beyond disappointed. The hostess noticed the displeasure and asked what was the problem. She immediately noticed the chicken and stated that she had never seen any chicken that size. Additionally, the chicken was poorly prepared, undercooked (probably due in part to the large size of the chicken), and simply not the quality of food that should be served to patrons. I had difficulty breaking the chicken apart bc it was large and rubbery. The manager initially said that they tore the chicken apart and that it was cooked (ok sure sir) and that I could order another meal. I went with the Shrimp Po Boy sandwich which was the same price. To my surprise he returned seconds later and said that I would have to also pay for half of the chicken and waffle meal because I had eaten some of the waffle. My intent is to never receive free meals however I don't desire to pay for food that is not worthy of being served to customers. We also ordered an 8 piece lemon pepper wing which was barely eaten however we didn't even complain about the poor taste of those wings as they were cooked thoroughly but just weren't good. The waitress and hostess were apologetic but not the manager. This will be my first and last time patronizing this establishment and I will certainly not recommend this place to anyone else. I am a huge supporter of black owned businesses however the lack of business acumen and customer service on behalf of the manager will not allow me to step foot into the Daiquiri Factory again. $7.50 for a half eaten "Leggo My Eggo"!! Stand on principles and not...
Read moreI came here when it first opened. It was lit and packed per usual of a new location. But here it is today we were tryna find a place we could have some drinks, food, music and good vibes. Well they said seat yourself. So we did. Outside on the patio. I sat down and my wife used the bathroom. She came back to the table and I used the bathroom. As I went to open the door, the outdoor waitress was going out with drinks for the other pair outside. We were the only 2 pairs outside. No crowd at all. So I was a gentleman and held the door for her. She looked at me as I smiled and rolled her eyes and never once said a word as if I owed her to hold the door open. I came right back not even 5 mins in the restroom. We already knew what we wanted to drink so we sat there talking and before you know it, 20 mins passed by. So another pair came and sat outdoors. (As they found a table the waitress... that was rude when i opened the door... steady was catering to the other pair, ignoring service for us.) Well right behind them, was a guy who was first inside sitting down on his phone, brought waters to them. I hollered "excuse me sir, we have been here for 20 mins and not a soul has a word to us." He said, "well i am now, whats up?" I didnt like the comment but I held myself together and asked did they have peach. Nope they didnt. They had flavors i never heard of. Cool. So my wife asked did they have pineapple and he said no. She his attitude and tone was already off....long story...lol. we left. He walked in front of us as we left and u can still see him with a attitude, no sense of compassion. Throwing shit in the trash with a dude, slamming down order notebook, etc. Body language said it all.... I just...
