I went to this establishment for the first time the same day of this review. The Spence vs Crawford fight was happening the same day as well and I thought Seven Sports would be a great place to watch the fight. So I get to the spot and its the usual pat down at the door. The doorman stares at my ID like he knows what looking at and after after some small talk about the origins of my first name they let me through. I'm then greeted by another man who is taking money and putting wrist bands on. The charge is $20 to get in which was initially surprising but after realizing its fight night I understood.
After walking in I initially wanted to sit at the bar. There were some seats pushed upped against the bar top that I went to but the bartender said they were reserved. This should have been a red flag for me considering later events but I ignored it and sat down at one of the several empty tables.
The waitress that served me was nice and constantly asked me if I needed anything. I ordered some lemon pepper wings that came with fries and a beer. The wings were just ok and while I'm not much of a french fry person the fries had no flavor but at least were hot.
About halfway through my meal the waitress comes up to me and asks if I'm staying for the fight. I tell her yes and then she proceeds to tell me that it is $100 to continue to sit at the tables. I tell her I'm going to finish my meal and then sit at the bar. The waitress then tells me there's a fee to sit at the bar as well but didn't know what it was and walked off to ask. Once she returned she told me it was $50 to sit at the bar. I told the waitress to go ahead and cash me out and that I'm leaving.
So my issue isn't the crazy prices the bar had to watch the fight. They can charge what ever they want. My issue is you need to tell people this up front when they come in and not have all these hidden fees like ya'll some type of travel service . If I had been given this information at the front door by buddy passing out wristbands I would have left then. Nickle and diming people once they have already paid to get in and breath air in your establishment just reeks of shady and raunchy business practices.
So with this experience under my belt this will be first and last time going to...
Read moreYesterday TUESDAY 05/21 I ordered the happy hour Philly and two orders of wings. one the food came out I noticed fries on both trays. So I asked the waitress what did she ring us up for because the $2 wings donât come with fries. She went in and âThe Managerâ told her it was already rung up so she canât change it. WHAATT? this isn't what we wanted. So I asked for the Owner and according to Renitta the owner sent her out. She has an attitude as usual and says âitâs already rung up so they canât take it offâ. After she attempted to want to go back and forth I told her I would dispute the transaction. She says âWeâre still going to get our moneyâ ummm do you personally benefit from a transaction??? At that point I was done talking to her. We saw the owner drive by so I flagged him down. He gave the finger like give me a minute. Never came! When we requested him again he comes over and talk to my friend. The entire time sheâs talking heâs looking around showing no concern about his Customers problem. His response was âIâll talk to themâ still doesnât resolve the issue at hand. This waitress clearly told me she didnât know which wings I wanted so she rung up the happy hour special. This is at 7:00 we didnât leave until at 10 trying to get this resolved. I was so upset I cashed out. Another manager came in and said sheâll look into the problem. The waitress told her the same thing! She didnât know which wings we wanted so she rung up happy hour. I was told we need to say what we wanted. Customer service goes a Long way and thatâs the waitress job. If youâre having a special offer it to your customers. We already knew the specials from visiting so frequent, but what about others who donât? The last time we visited the same waitress hounded ya down about someone elseâs bill. Seems as if Seven didnât mind loosing Customers. Guess Iâll be back to Fusions, or burn lounge, or anywhere in Atlanta that offers $2 Tuesday, $3 Thursday, and every other night that we went to Seven. Never made a complaint before this. Oh yea I actually sent back both sets of fries and two wings on each tray, because I believe in honesty and itâs not...
Read moreI attended this event by invitation, knowing my service animal would be accompanying me. I usually stick to outdoor environments, but this time I came prepared with all proper documentation. My service animal was vested, carried badge ID, and I also had legal documents on me.
Despite this, when I parked, security (Ron) stopped me and refused entry. I was told to speak with management, only to then be told management was ânot here tonight.â I even tipped Peanut for allowing me to briefly use the restroom while my service animal waited outside, yet we were still denied access.
Being compared to âsomeone else who had an issueâ was unfair and discriminatory â that person was not me. I had followed all the requirements of the law, yet I was treated as if my rights didnât matter.
This was supposed to be a Soca night invite, but instead of enjoying the event or even being able to tell the DJ I arrived, I was turned away. Normally, I contribute even if I remain outdoors, but this time I tipped and still had to leave.
I left feeling disrespected and excluded. Businesses need to understand that service animals are not pets â they are protected by law. I hope this situation is corrected so no one else has to experience what I did. I also meant to add we came with his stroller, bag or leash even a tent to accommodate any special rules of establishment - he was not just on a...
