UPDATE!!! I have not been to $3 in many months & I heard $3 was under new management. Well, it tastes like they are under a new kitchen staff as well. I had my mouth set for a TDC Burger, have been looking forward to one for several days, and then I had one tonight. Highly disappointed. The first bite was dry and I'd asked for it to be cooked medium (since they couldn't do medium rare). Their menu even says "cooked medium to medium well" (see new photo of menu). I sent the dry burger back & the next burger came back cooked well done also. The waitress apologized and said the cook couldn't cook it less than medium well, even though their menu says they can cook it medium. Needless to say, IF I return to eat I won't order my once favorite TDC Burger. And the new seasoning added to the fries... nope! I'm not a fan. ******************************************* 5 stars across the board!! The food is amazing! The service was great & the music was a whole vibe in itself! We wanted to stay longer just go listen to the music. Tonight was my 2nd time coming to the Stockbridge location & I'm adding it to my rotation. The first time I went was a few months ago & I had the TDC burger with sweet potato fries (burger was delicious & SP fries were okay). My dad had the country fried chicken (he said it was great!) & we ordered the Black & Bleu chips (they were decent). My uncle had the TDC burger with regular fries. This time I ordered the TDC fish sandwich & OMG IT WAS AMAZING & massive. I could eat it every day! The fries were so good too. I'm trying to stop myself from returning tomorrow & ordering it again. I'll definitely be back next week!

Where do I begin? Atmosphere- Sports bar. Service- *sigh* Our server was Melinda. She was friendly, but ther service was not good at all. She took our drink orders and it took about 15 minutes for her to bring our waters and sodas. Then another 10 minutes for our alcoholic beverages. The kids Sprite was bad, so they got lemonades instead. When she brought the cups, she brought two each and they were all filled to the brim. Instead of walking around the booth to give the other drinks, she had us pass them down the table and because they were filled to the brim, they spilled on our apps and belonging. When she brought our waters, etc. she took our food orders. I kid you not, it took about 35-40 minutes for our food to come out! The service was EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY slow. Food- When the food came out it was good. The kids all had the Hangover burger. They said it was pretty good. My sister had the blackend chicken sandwich and me and my bro-in law had wings. I also got shrimp with mine. Everything was good, except the fries. The fries had no salt and probably could have been cooked about 3 more minutes. Misc.- We sat for about 20 minutes after eating waiting for her to come clear the table or offer something else, but we had to have someone go get her. When it came to pay, she became more "attentive". One of my biggest issues with automatic gratuity and "service fees" is that when the service is poor, like it was, you want to be in control of what is appropriate to leave for the service received. I will not return.

Upon arrival at Three Dollar Cafe, I was warmly greeted by a hostess and promptly seated in a comfortable booth. The atmosphere was inviting and set the tone for a pleasant dining experience. The waitress approached with a friendly demeanor, enhancing the overall customer service experience. I ordered an appetizer which arrived quite quickly. The chips were unfortunately a bit stale, but the spinach dip was a redeeming factor – hot and flavorful, creating a nice start to the meal. The main course, a Korean BBQ burger, was a highlight. It was served hot, with the kimchi providing a delightful kick to each bite. The runny egg added an interesting twist, and the Korean BBQ sauce was rich and saucy, complementing the flavors beautifully. Throughout the visit, the customer service remained supreme, with attentive and courteous staff making sure everything was to my satisfaction. This level of service, combined with the unique and tasty burger, made for a memorable dining experience at Three Dollar Cafe.

When my husband and I arrived there the place was completely empty. We were in a rush for our flight and could appreciate how they provided us with faster options to be made for us to eat. When we got our food it looked nothing like the photos: I got a burger that was suppose to have onions, tomato, lettuce, guacamole, pico, and jalapeños. Not only did the burger only have cheese, and maybe a tea spoon of guacamole (nothing else was on it that was suppose to be on it), when I tried to find my waitress to fix this, she was no where to be found, therefore I had to go into their kitchen to find them all standing there eating their own food. Nonetheless, I found someone to tell my waitress the chef did not prepare my food right and she brought me onions, tomatoes, lettuce, but no pico or jalapeños… Next I put it on the burger myself and go to eat my burger and the smell and taste of the meat was like when you leave meat out for way too long and then cook it, it was honestly so disgusting. I ate about 1/3 of it and my husband finished the rest as he’ll eat about anything; though he also agreed it was so nasty. We were so hungry before our flight. As for his food he ordered the Barbacoa tacos, this also looked nothing like the photo on the menu, it was unbelievably dry, with like a couple small chopped onions on top. that’s it. he had to put ketchup on his tacos… ketchup… to swallow it, and add flavor… Lastly a few hours later I started to feel very nauseous on the flight (which never happens) and then had to run to the restroom during, and right after the flight to throw up. Then it continued after we arrived at home and i had to miss work today from food poisoning. My husband has had diarrhea all night and morning as well. I would not recommend anything about this place to anyone. The food was absolutely terrible, and make us so sick. Next time we go to a restaurant with no one there, we will not be blaming the rainy...
