Read moreOn April 5, 2024, I entered this establishment at 6:15PM (yes, PM). I was seated in the dining area at 6:17 pm and I was the ONLY one sitting, yes, I was the only customer dining in. The server took my order at 6:20. At 6:30 I still haven't received my food. She brought my food out around 6:37 as soon as she placed the food on the table I immediately felt the pancakes and said these are cold, I touched the eggs and hash browns and they were also cool; I asked, how is it my food is cool, not warm and I am the only one in here, no answer, she asked if I wanted them the remake it, I stated no and politely left. Ten minutes later, I called the store and asked for a manager, I was placed on hold for a few minutes. Someone picks up the phone and says "hello" I asked her for her name, and she stated Rayna, I asked her what her position was she stated "Waitress" so I told her I asked for a manager, Rayna stated no one was there and that a manager will be in around 10:30 pm I asked for corporates number, she placed me on hold, came back to the phone and gave me (470) 406-8378 I thanked her and hung up. I immediately called the corporate number she gave me, and a gentlemen answered the phone "Hello" I asked who I was speaking with, he stated, Angel, I told him this number was given to me by Rayna when I asked for corporates number, I asked him was this corporate, he said this is IHOP. I told him I didn't feel that this was corporate, so I thanked him and hung up. I did google corporates number. This type of behavior, incompetency and dishonesty is unacceptable and should be addressed immediately. If a customer calls and ask for a number, either direct them to google or just say you don't have it and NOT give another person or employee cell number for them to pretend to be someone in the corporate office.
I did call the store back around 10:24pm and asked for a manger. I spoke with Jermaine W., I asked was he a manager he said yes, I asked if there is not usually a manager at the store during the hours of noon and 6pm, he stated one leaves around 2pm. Read moreMy family and I decided to go out for a nice dinner last night, as my mother is moving to another state today. We arrived at IHOP around 8:15. 5 kids 4 adults, the waitress took our drink orders and said she would be right back, fast forward another 20 or so minutes pass by and then she comes back to ask if we were ready to order. We ordered the kids food at that time and reordered our drinks as we had still not received them. Another 15 or so minutes later another server came to our table with our drinks, and again took the whole parties order (including the kids again) and said she would be our server. We waited patiently for our food, we understand 9 people is a lot to cook for. A little while later we asked for refills and after about 15 minutes 2 people from our party gathered our cups and took them to the waitress station and got us refills. Our new waitress comes out and informs us that she wanted to make us aware (before she entered our food order) that the cooks were not used to this amount of service they were "weaker shift cooks" and it could take up to ANOTHER hour for our food to arrive. At this time we had been in the restaurant around 2 hours. Fortunately, our food started coming out one by one, starting with 3 of the kids' food orders, 10 minutes later the other 2 kids, and half of another orders pancakes, then an omelet. 10 minutes later, all food was out except mine and all 5 kids were completely finished with there food, now ready to go and getting restless and tired. When I received my food it was cold and was missing half of it I was informed they were out of corn (I didn't order corn but mashed potatoes and red potatoes), so I asked our waitress to take it, we received our check at 10:45, waited until almost 11:00 before we could pay. This was by far the absolute worst dining experience I have ever had. I sadly had a sandwich at home for dinner last night. The staff was rude (Aside from the manager, as she had just came in) and obviously, undertrained, the store had many dirty tables, and sadly there were only 3 or so more parties in the restaurant it was all around unacceptable and very...
