A Friday night, so they're busy. Understandable. But the young man working the register? He did not want to be there. He was constantly trying to dance to some hip-hop in his head and punching the air. He didnt greet anyone, he ignored everyone until he got ready "to deal with us," and then mumbled "wu-u-want?" Then he made constant mistakes on the entry screen and always needed the shift manager to bail him out. She was working her butt off, doing multiple jobs. When I notified her they were out of napkins, she thanked me and jumped right on the job he apparently had forgotten to finish, as one of the dispensers was sitting empty on top of the counter. He just kept on "doin his thang," ignoring everyone. It was my impression that he was on drugs. Wendy's does not need representatives like this greeting/turning off their customers. The man in front of me got tired of waiting for Mr hip-hop to even acknowledge him, gave up and stormed out, after he'd already given up on the drive through window. The food was as expected. The dinning room and men's room were clean and uncluttered. When Mr hip-hop brought a broom and dustpan out to the dinning area he kept dropping them, or throwing them down, not sure which. Probably the latter so he could continue his dance moves. Nothing against hip-hop or people who like it, but this guy thought he was dope. He was just being a dope. I saw a young man at the counter of another Wendy's years ago who made dancing and rapping part of his job. He was on fire! He greeted customers, he was friendly and had tons of energy. He was fantastic! He made sure order got done fast. Customers as well as his teammates loved him. Wendy's can do without the first guy and should hunt for more of the second one. I like your food. I just hope you dont allow your people to spoil that for me. And for the record, I am a 58 year old white male. I drive a school bus and deal with kids all day. I was here for my break on a night time field trip. This kid disrespected everyone, regardless of age, race or gender. He simply didnt...
Read moreThis was the Worst experience at a restaurant! Wendy's needs to make sure they hire older people to watch over all these young teens that they employ. We get to the second window after paying...of course the part where they take your money was excellent. We get to the second window and the young man is very confused. He is digging through the bag and you can hear a female yelling at him in the background. He separates our food and starts to hand everything out. I give this young man a pass. Once we saw and talked to the she devil that was yelling at and confusing him, we understood. He gave us most of our food and then was told to ask for a hamburger back. I asked him which one and why because so far my order was right. The bumbling rude female child in the back kept talking to him as we were asking for condiments, and then pushed him out the way. We just bought over 30 worth of food and she came to the window rolling eyes and rude. We asked her for the condiments...she gave us 2. I explained to her what I just bought can I get more. She huffed and puffed and shut the door before I finished talking. Now my husband is upset. I am 16 weeks pregnant, craving Wendy's, food is not hot and service is bad and here is this child being rude and disrespectful. He told her where is your manager because you are not professional. She gave me more condiments...wrong ones...looked at us and said I am the manager. I asked her what is her name, she huffed and puffed and closed the window in my face again. So we sat there. Once her line didn't move she came back and gave us some random name and when my husband told her about herself she leaned out the window and was yelling who baby who not professional and so so who cares. Did I mention she didn't give us all our food. Did I also mention all the burgers we're wrong...nothing was right when we unwrapped them when we got home. I will be calling corporate on Ms. Lakesha if that's her real name. WORST SERVICE EVER!!! Restaurants please stop hiring children and leaving...
Read moreStopped by this location and there was one car at the window, and one car directly ahead of me. I listened to the car ahead of me place their brand new order, receive their total, and were told to drive around. When I pulled up to the speaker box, I was only told, "We are closed." I waited for a second, then said "excuse me?". She repeated the one line that "we are closed." I told her it is 11:48PM, and the car ahead of me literally just placed an order. I also mentioned that their online hours show drive-thru is open until 1AM. The only response I received was, "Oh, no, that car was picking up another order." At that point, I just drove off because I don't even want to order anymore when I am blatantly lied to, as I heard the person ahead of me be greeted, placed their new order, given their total, etc. Also, what an odd time to be closed, 11:48PM? I understand many places are short staffed, but that is not a way to operate a business. Extremely unprofessional and unethical with the lies. The only reason I chose to stop by this location was because I had to search for fast food places open late, as I had my 6 year old twins with me after a long night at the airport following an injury (just a terrible night), then to be told they are closed? Needless to say, my boys fell asleep hungry on the way home since we could not be accommodated for whatever reason. A 1 hour airport trip turned into 5, so it wasn't something planned and that I could have planned ahead for. If you close at 11:48PM (odd timing), then you should post that online, as your hours updated 4 weeks ago confirm you're open until 1AM 7 days a week for drive-thru service. I don't leave negative reviews, it is extremely rare, however, this directly affected my children which is what truly disappointed me. This is NOT a way to...
