Thursday, 14Nov2024 I'm so angry right now about this! I was driving into work sometime around 8pm & hadn't even eaten dinner yet because I had to get to work. I hadn't been to a Wendy's in a minute and since there was no line, (which now I definitely know why there was no line), I went through the drive-thru and ordered the #2, bacon burger combo meal for $11.something. I get to the window, pay cash & get my sweet tea. When I took a sip it tasted like sweet tea with a splash of coke, but whatever, I'm generally not "extra" about stuff like that. I waited at least 5 minutes, which I wasn't too concerned with considering it was just me in the drive-thru. Then, a different lady who took the money opened the window & practically threw the bag at me. Still, whatever, I worked at McD's back in the day. I get it. It's a lot of work on your feet. So I'm driving down the road but I can't wait... I grab some fries. They're cold. At first I was like, well maybe the ketchup packets that were on top making them cold. Nope. They're all cold. So now I'm figuring, that must mean my burger is really fresh and hot. Forgot to mention that I could hear everyone laughing and having a good time while I was waiting in the drive-thru... again, I don't even care about that but I mention it because What The He11 Were They Doing that I had to wait so long for cold food??! I took a big bite of this cold burger and the looooongest hair is now between me and this bite of burger!!! It was such a long that it really pissed me off because HOW was that an accident??! Now I'm real close to work so I go in and now I have an attitude for over an hour. I kept the bag in the car because I planned to go back to get a refund but when I got back in the car it STUNK so bad, like bad meat or something. Whatever, it cost me $11 to learn my lesson to never go to that gross...
Read moreThe new cashier in training was an absolute joy to interact with. I cannot recall his name, but I know from talking to him he is 16 yrs old and is from Pakistan. He was not only thorough with taking our order, but was also extremely friendly and will definitely be a wonderful asset to this store's customer service experience. My fiance and I were joking with one another and he jumped right in rolling with it but not in a way that was at all intrusive - he did so in a way that he seamlessly joined in to our joking. I then saw him interact with a few other customers and his jovial attitude and light hearted fun behavior was still there, all while he made sure to keep focus on doing his job taking orders. He was still training, as mentioned, but honestly I would have never known. I could definitely see him going far at Wendy's and becoming a shift lead or even a manager.
My negative experience: the Coke Freestyle was out of nearly every flavor addition and the ice was slow to come out as if it was nearly out of ice. The dining area was a little dirty and could have used some cleaning. The drink station was in need of cleaning and restock.
My double stack was not the best - was just haphazardly thrown together with too many pickles despite not asking for extra. It was also a little cold - making me think it was customer special request order but was forgotten so sat until someone ordered a double stack.

Read moreI would have given this three stars at first. I ordered ahead of time so that the food would be ready when we got there. The instructions said to go inside for pickup. I tried to go inside but the doors were locked. So then I tried calling them, but of course nobody answered. I tried driving around to the place where people were waiting thinking maybe that's where pickups go. I asked the guy at the window where pickups go and he was just like oh you ordered online then disappeared. So then a girl came out and I tried asking her but no dice. The a third guy came out and I tried asking him where to go because it said go inside. At first he was saying how they were really short staffed and so I was like um ok where am I supposed to pick up the food. He said circle around again and go to the parking. Luckily he brought it out shortly after but after all that headache it would have been easier and much quicker just to go through the drive through when I got there. Of course we ordered ahead because we were in a hurry. So that's why I would have given it three stars.
The reason I gave it one star is because when I tried to go inside to pick up the order (and the door was locked), there was actually a sign saying fine in would be available until 8. So that makes it false advertising by locking the doors. Which makes the comment about being short staffed make sense and not having to clean, but theres an easy solution... just take...
