I was so disappointed by my service and experience at this Panera today. Usually this one is a no-brainer win for our family, but today it missed on all counts- our order has one sandwich wrong- I caught it on the receipt and they fixed it before it was made but didn’t offer to reimburse the dollar- not a big deal if that has been it. There was one 2 person group ahead of us yet we waited for 15 mins with no explanation of why with lots of chatting and laughter in the prep area. When we got our order out to the car we realized we had no silverware so one trip back in. When we got back to the car the second time, we realized that my husbands sandwich was wrong. Another trip back in to get it fixed. This time I spoke to a manager and told him I’ve never had this poor service at a panera and that despite the fact he was standing right there his employees clearly were goofing off and not working. He apologized but that didn’t exactly fix my frustration. After we started driving, I realized they had not given me the Baja bowl as ordered but instead blended the Baja and Mediterranean bowl and given me half the ingredients of each. Most definitely not what I ordered. Overall I was just really disappointed with my...
Read moreWorst custom service I've ever had at a Panera (Seneca Meadows complex). In general I've never experienced great customer service at any Panera anywhere which leads me to believe that this is due to a lack of training more than anything else. However, training or no training, common decency would dictate that you, as a cashier, acknowledge the human being standing in front of you by at least saying "what would you like to order?"or"can I help you?"etc. Nope. Nothing. I walked in and stood at the counter with several employees walking past and not saying a word or even glancing in my direction to indicate that they saw me standing there. When someone finally did walk up to the register, he did not say one.single.word. Just stood there looking at me. I finally gave my order and paid. He handed me my receipt and walked away. This entire transaction occurred without a single word from him. I am nearly 49 years old and have traveled the world. Even in countries where people don't speak the language, they manage to give a smile or a nod or a greeting in their language. Something. But the fact that the cashier and not a single one of his co-workers (and there were at least 5 that walked past) could even acknowledge me was...
Read moreCame In to get food to go. They don’t call numbers very loud if at all . Stood there for 10 minutes no one said a word . Finally manager looked in a bag that was sitting there off to side and says who ordered an onion soup and sandwich . I said not mine . 10 minutes later I’m questioning where is my food he looks in bag again and says oh this is yours it’s not onion soup it’s chili !! So now food is cold , bread is hard , no apologies just a blank stare . I’ve never seen someone who’s a manager move so slow and show little interest In a customer . He took my order at register he knew how long I had waited . I know Panera isn’t fast food and I didn’t expect it to be . They’re whole ordering and food delivery to waiting customers needs some major adjustments. Waiting for 20 minutes is ridiculous . They seemed more interested in their online orders coming in . This is second time I’ve had a long wait at this particular one by Wegmans . I thought I’d try again today to give another chance . It was almost 2:00 pm so no major lunch rush was happening . I’ll find someplace else to eat lunch in future. If you’re pressed for time you may want...
