Neelsville Village Center — Local services in Germantown

Until December 18, 2020, I would have said that I felt safe at this shopping center. I'd been shopping here for several years. My purse was snatched from me violently outside the Giant in broad daylight by a tall woman who took about two steps out of the car in which she was a front seat passenger. I had just come out of the store and was amongst a large group of people. Could have happened anywhere, but it happened there. I had made up my mind that I could shop in some of the stores a bit further away from this Giant. The woman got my purse, credit cards, license and phone. She immediately started charging things (I called around in addition to getting alerts), before the police arrived.

I found out the next week from someone who works at my PT's office that her son works at Giant. He told her about two more daytime robberies since mine--another at the Giant and one at Target. I am now afraid to go back, even realizing that it could...

I was having an issue with the app to use my digital coupon, so the cashier asked someone named Heather to assist me. She told me to go to customer service and someone would assist me there and she started talking on her cell phone. I go to customer service and no one is there. I waited for 10 minutes for a gut to come up and say, "What do you need? I said Heather sent me here to get assistance with the app to use my digital coupons. I show him on in the app, but it keeps saying invalid. I show him again, and he says well I can't give you the price." It says if you're not in the app." I was in the Giant app. I even went outside logged out and logged back in because the reception could be shaky inside the store. He just looked at me and walked away.

I grew up in Gaithersburg most of my life (now love in Baltimore), but this was one of my fav shopping centers always when i was in the Germantown area. You got Giant, Pot Bellys which had the best sandwiches, Bath and Body Works which i dont see much in baltimore unless i go to a mall, and Starbucks so i can drop in after my lash appts and grab a nice coffee drink for the ride home. Great shopping center. Only bad thing is, the parking is always congested and youre circling looking for a place to park. At least Applebee's is right there, you can stop in for a couple...
