So I've been in Arizona 12 years and despite my penchant for seeking out places I've never tried this was my first visit to an eegee's. I've heard about their cult following but alas, never went. Anyway, when I stopped in yesterday the place was clean, everyone was happy and friendly and the sandwich and accompanying cherry eegee were delicious. The bread was incredibly soft with great chew but hearty enough not to get any soggyness from the mustard, mayo, and house vinaigrette. You can tell that they take care with how they layer the meats and ingredients, which is appreciated both aesthetically and by my palate. They also serve a variety of fries I will try next time, the Chipotle ranch really caught my eye. They don't have a robust selection of sandwiches like some other places but since I gravitate towards itallian themed sandwiches anyway, their spicy grinder was perfect. The sandwiches they offer are done well and the unique accompaniment of and itallian ice with your food is a nice shake up from your standard sandwich spot.

I'm an AZ native... From Tucson, now living in Chandler. I came by at 10am thinking it would be a good time as the store just opened. Unfortunately, I don't think time matters. There were 6 employees in the back just standing around, and two members of management sitting at a table. When I walked to the counter no one approached me until one of the management yelled at someone to help. Took the order fine and I went to look for a table. The problem was, an hour after opening (with no customers in the store) almost all the tables and the floor were dirty... Again until the manager saw me walking around with a tray and yelled at someone to clean tables. Once I finally got around to my food, they put ranch fries in the box upside down, they were also burned . The food is mediocre at best and the service is horrible. I grew up on the original Eegees in Tucson and would rather wait on an hour and half drive back there than eat here again

I waited to go for when a I saw their line was only one loop around the building. I waited 45 min from start to finish. The line went smoothly and I felt Eegee’s did a great job of moving people along quickly. I ordered the Hot Pastrami, Deluxe Grinder, regular small fries, Buffalo Fries and a strawberry drink. My dad said his pastrami was good, but without pickles next time (he also did not get the pepperoncinis). Other than, he enjoyed it! I thoroughly enjoyed the Buffalo Fries the most! I would go back during a V short line to get those. My sandwich was good! I don’t care for sandwiches in general, I’ll crave them every so often, but I would get this one again. It has a good amount of meat, lots of lettuce and very good dressing! I would get the dressing to dip my regular Fries in!!! The strawberry drink is good the more I drank it! Overall, I would go back when I crave a sandwich, but more so for the Buffalo Fries!

Arrived here without a single customer in the lobby. The guy upfront was new and didn't know how to use the computer. 5 employees are in the back messing around and rather than helping him, they are fixing one meal for an employee. I told this guy no less than 5 times which toppings to exclude. I finally get my order placed after about 3-4 minutes. I sit for another few minutes and nothing is happening. I look around the corner and all 6 employees are standing around talking and on their phones. I ask where my order is at and they say the fries are still cooking. But at that point I've been in the lobby for almost 10 minutes. Mind you, I am still the only customer that has entered that lobby in that time!! I didn't have time to wait and asked to just have my sandwich. So, I ordered a meal and had to leave without part of it. I get in my car to find out that my order is wrong. The items that I asked to be excluded were left on the sandwich. Not one employee listened because they were too busy talking and being on their phones! I had to take my sandwich back in the restaurant and don't even have enough time at this point to wait for a refund! So, I called another store the next day because none of their phones are working! I was told that a manager would call me. It has now been a week and I have to call them back because they are too lazy to actually take care of issues that they have going on. I am calling corporate tomorrow and if I don't have my refund immediately, I'm going to file a charge back. Which, I will happily do because it's going to cost your company up to $100. Is an $8 order worth losing even more money for. Clearly it is worth a bad review since your management has so much on their plate with their employees standing around that they don’t have time to return calls! After all, you are paying your employees to sit around on their phones and just talk and do nothing! Wow, horrible,...

Honestly, I’d give them 1.5 stars if I could but decided on 2 stars because the food was okay (though the fries were a little overdone)

I’ll start off by saying that I’m from Tucson, I love Eegee’s, and have been eating Eegee’s for basically my entire life. That being said, I’m astonished at how bad the roll-out of their Gilbert location was. When we first arrived there today the drive thru was wrapped around the building and the line for inside orders extended along the wall outside of the restaurant in the direct sunlight. We were planning to dine-in so we decided to go ahead and get in line outside. Considering the size of the turnout we were surprised that they didn’t have any shade tents for people stand under, no water station for people standing in line, and no Eegee’s employees to outside to welcome customers. With today being only their 4th day being open one would think they’d have some actual GRAND opening with ribbons and balloons, fun music (they didn’t have any music playing at all actually), and maybe employees handing out free samples of Eegee’s. There was none of that. In fact, once we got inside we noticed many of the tables were empty/dirty, two of three trash cans were full, the digital Menus behind the cash registers were turned off, and they only had one cash register open and taking orders. On top of all of this they had plenty of room in the front of the register that if they did a little line control most of the people waiting outside in triple digit heat could have waited inside in the cool AC.

Just really shocking and sad that this will be many people’s first impression of Eegee’s. I sincerely hope they step...

Ordered online for pickup and went to the door to find it closed. There were people inside cleaning that looked at me and looked away so I figured I needed to hit the drive thru. Silly to find you still had to wait in line in the drive thru to get my online order (seems a little counter productive but ok). I get in line and I'm about 6 cars back not bad. After 28 minutes...to move 6 cars...i finally get to the speaker. The man at the speaker asks me to hold for a moment and he'll be right with me. Couple minutes later he comes back on and says there is one more ahead of me and please continue to hold. I let him know I was just wanting to pick up an online order and he asked my name. Aftee repeating my name 3 times, he told me they had been having issues with online orders and couldn't find mine. He asked me to pull forward and order at the window. I asked if he wanted me to order at the screen so they could start on my order and he said no pull forward. I think the person in front of me had the same issue as they were at the window for awhile and only got one bag. At the window they asked for my name again and then asked if he could see my phone to confirm the order. I handed them my phone. They subsequently found it (which is concerning, where was it????) Needless to say after waiting an hour to move 6 cars the fries were cold, icee was just juice after melting and the sandwich we ordered toasted was not...Was really excited as I had heard good things but VERY disappointed. Not sure if this is how you do business or just a bad night but if it's the former, VERY...
