MauiSadas — Restaurant in Gilbert

We went to Hawaii and had malasadas of all kinds (even from famous Leonard's Bakery) and none of them were as good as these! First box of MauiSadas had coconut, pineapple, guava, and raspberry with maui sand dusting (sugar and cinnamon). Second box was pineapple, strawberries and cream, raspberry and lemon (all of the above with maui sand), and guava again but with li hing (sweet/sour plum flavor). These 6 packs of donuts were crammed full (and included a 7th), so you are getting a great value. I was also greeted with an extra mauisada in a separate cup (so I actually received 8 total) - both times I got a vanilla cream filled and dusted with sugar. The vanilla cream was my favorite, followed closely by the guava with li hing. The others were also very good. I will definitely be ordering these a lot. Of any donuts I've gotten anywhere in Phoenix metro (or Hawaii or California for that matter), these have to be the best. I also ordered Hana Bread (the chocolate chip one) and it was also delicious. Looking for a taste of Aloha?? Look no further, we have a taste of paradise right here in Gilbert, Az. MauiSadas aka “Malasadas/Hawaiian donuts” are fresh, light, fluffy and delicious. There’s a variety of fillings to choose from. We haven’t had a flavor we didn’t like. We order almost weekly. Our family favorite is the traditional filled with bavarian creme but the unfilled malasadas are just as good! Unfilled with cinnamon sugar is like a soft fluffy churro. Who doesn’t like a churro. The “Sand Dollars” (snickerdoodle) cookies are amazing. The banana bread was full of flavor and very moist. Everything on the menu is fresh and delicious. Our company wanted to support a small local business. I came across Mauisadas on instagram and was blown away with their story. With all the terrible destruction in Maui, we chose to do an order of Malasadas for our team in support. The owners were great with answering questions! They sent me a text a few days before with instructions. Even the front of their house location is adorable! They brought out our order with napkins, stickers and a printed receipt.
