Nando's Spanish Restaurant in Gilbert, Thanks to Sofia and the Montana Margarita! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nando's Spanish Restaurant in Gilbert, and my experience was absolutely extraordinary. I am thrilled to share my positive feedback about this charming establishment, with particular appreciation for our amazing waitress, Sofia, and the delightful Montana Margarita with Coconut Creme. First and foremost, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Sofia. Her exceptional service, attentiveness, and warm personality enhanced our dining experience in every way possible. Sofia went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcomed, comfortable, and satisfied throughout our visit. Her recommendations were spot-on and her genuine enthusiasm added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evening. Now, let's dive into the star of the drink menu - the Montana Margarita with Coconut Creme. This concoction is a hidden gem that's not on the regular menu, but trust me, it's worth requesting! The combination of the classic margarita with the addition of silky coconut creme takes this drink to a whole new level. Each sip was a tropical oasis of flavors, perfectly balanced with a hint of coconut, making it my personal favorite. I highly recommend trying it - just remember to ask for the coconut cream! In addition to the outstanding service and the delightful margarita, Nando's Spanish Restaurant creates an inviting and stylish atmosphere. The ambiance is modern and welcoming, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. The restaurant is impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the seating arrangements provide both privacy and comfort. Moreover, Nando's Spanish Restaurant offers a diverse menu that caters to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences. Whether you're a vegetarian or a meat lover, there are many delicious options to choose from. The menu is infused with Spanish-inspired flavors that add a unique twist to each dish, ensuring a memorable culinary adventure. Finally, I want to appreciate the restaurant's commitment to maintaining excellent hygiene and safety standards. The staff diligently followed all necessary precautions, creating a safe and worry-free dining environment. Overall, my experience at Nando's Spanish Restaurant was simply impeccable. Thanks to Sofia's attentive service and the unforgettable Montana Margarita with Coconut Creme, my evening was incredibly delightful. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this establishment for an exquisite Spanish dining experience, and be sure to treat yourself with this remarkable margarita. You won't be disappointed!

3/25/21 @ 3:30pm. Not my first time here, and was very surprised at both the service and the food. 6 of us sat outside, and we had a fairly new server. We attempted to order off the happy hour bar menu and she had trouble finding the named items on her hand pad and therefore went back and forth with each of us, and in particular with me. I wanted the "Poor Man's Margarita". Simply a Tecate and a salted glass and lime. She said "I don't think we have that anymore "....here we go.... ordering food was just as difficult. When the food did come, the picture attached is of these huge pieces of chicken on the chicken salad. My friend had to ask for a knife to eat the salad! My fajita pizza appetizer was cold when it came, and as I was eating it, I noted that the cheese was not melted through. I know some of you may be saying "why didn't you speak to a Manager"? Well, in turn we were starved as it did take awhile for both the order to be taken and the food to arrive. The server never came back to check on us until we were well into eating, but more importantly, if you have a new server working under you, shouldn't the Manager take the time to visit that new server's tables?

Really good! We started eating b4 remembering to take pics lol. The best thing was the Fajita Philly which was listed under burgers. It was delicious! And the fries were crispy and tasty as well. The only thing was that the bread was under all of the meat and veggies, so it was soggy, but the flavor was on point. It also had a cheese sauce on the side that tastes good with the fries, burger and the chips. There were two dips/salsas that came with chips, and the chunky salsa in the small carif/jar, was good, but the one that comes in the small plastic container tasted like pizza sauce, and it was not appetizing. The frozen margarita was disappointing because it wasn't strong, barely frozem, and it was watered down. My son ordered the steak taco, and the chicken nachos, and he enjoyed it. They weren't the best nachos ever, but "pretty good" according to him. Grant, our waitor was really nice and attentive. We would go back just to see him. We would definitely go back for the burger dish, but not in a rush to be honest. I would like to explore other, hopefully more authentic, Mexican restaurants.

I have been at the location in Mesa and we really enjoyed it a lot. I decided to give the one in Gilbert to try. The first thing I realize is the happy hour menu was completely different. This included the drink menu. The drinks were about half the size as the other location. We ordered the guacamole appetizer. It was filled with onions and you could tell it wasn’t real guacamole. The color was almost fluorescent and it tasted awful. When we let the server know, she said a lot of people said the same thing and asked to have it taken back. I’m surprised that they would continue to sell it as it was very poor quality. we ended up sharing the fajitas, which were very good. I had mixed feelings about this restaurant and the review because the other Nando’s was so much better than this one. The atmosphere was clean and the service was good so if you’re into a good fajita platter, I can recommend that however, if you want the full experience, I would go to the Mesa location instead.

Food was decent but not exceptional. Very light on spice. On the plus side they do make a hot sauce in addition to salsa, love me some hot sauce! Chips were on the thick side. Cheese crisp was nice and cheesy but seemed fried rather than baked, was not too greasy considering at least. Taco and enchilada were fine. My friend got the fundito style chicken chimi and was disappointed by the scant amount of jalapeno cream cheese that it had...which is the whole point. I made her some jalapeno cream cheese for her leftovers and she said it helped a lot. Said it was passable but has had way better. Waiter was nice but had to flag down multiple times. Many wait staff not c wearing masks or wearing below nose and some even below chi,n which is pointless. This was before mask mandate lifted too. Cute decor and nice big patio for dining during nice weather.

We had been to Nando’s before and enjoyed our experience. We decided to go for lunch one day and my wife had told me about their fajita pasta. That sounded weird to me but she said she knew others who loved it. I was in the mood to try something different so I order it with chicken. I was not really sure what to expect but my plate came and I tired the cheesy bread that is served with it. I about fell out of my seat at how good just the bread was. I had my wife and her mother both try the bread and they were amazed by how good it was. Then I tried the pasta and not knowing what to expect I was very pleasantly surprised by how good it was. It has fajita flavor but also a souse that just compliments the dish so well. It was one of the best things I have ever gotten at a restaurant. We all enjoyed our meal and the service and staff were great.
