Stopped there about 5:10pm for a 2 can dine meal (5pcs, 2 sides and biscuit) and the drive through was completely empty. Pulled up to the window and waited and waited and waited. I ask the cashier what was going on and he said he didnāt know. He did say the order was 10 minutes and 47 seconds on the timer and that it was āRIDICULESā.
Well, I finally got home and found they gave me the wrong meal. They gave me a 2-piece meal and one of the sides was wrong. Took them over 11 minutes and they still got it wrong. I called the store and the phone was answered then hung up, answered, and hung up, answered and hung up. Over the next hour it was answered and hung up 28 times according to my call log.
Eventually a person did answer. At this point I was very frustrated, and I asked to speak to the manager. He said the manager was on break. I said I would hold, and he said the wait would be over an hour because they get long breaks. I have never experienced such negligent customer service 1. How can an order take over 11 minutes at 5pm with no customers there? 2, How can you take 11 minutes and still mess up the order? 3, How is it possible for a representative of Popeyes hang up on a customer, without even speaking to them, 28 times? 4, Do managers really have breaks lasting over an hour?
I can tell you how. Gross mismanagement and a total disregard to customers. This is not an issue of a few missing pieces of chicken. This is about the inherent corporate culture of this franchise or its franchisee.
I am requesting an thorough investigation of this stores practices as they relate to the corporate standards for customer service.
In this highly competitive industry, food is rarely the recipe to success. It is the customer experience that builds or destroys a company. Those who defecate on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I went here on Feb. 5th, Sunday night at about 7pm. I went inside to order take out. Only one person in front of me in. He finished placing his order. The girl taking orders ignored me for about ten minutes as she bagged up orders. I placed my order, then had to wait twenty minutes for it to be ready. I asked for a few extra honey packets and the guy gave me 27 additional honey packets, yes i counted them when i got home. The guy who ordered in front of me asked four different times to get his mashed potatoes and gravy in separate containers as he was placing his order. When he got his food, they were in the same container. He told them what he asked for and the young man working there proceeded to yell and argue with the customer. The employee was rude and cussing at the customer who was just trying to get what he had asked for. I thought the employee was going to physically attack the customer. Right when i walked in, what appeared to be a manager walked out and was not seen again for the next 30 minutes i was there. The employees were angry, yelling and cussing at each other. The place was absolute chaos, disorganized. They ran out of mashed potatoes, then ran out of biscuits, then ran out of chicken legs. This place could be used as a class for exactly how NOT to run a restaurant. Them employees just didn't care, at all, and had no leadership. To top if all off, when I got home, the chicken "tenders" were inedible dry, stiff, with barely and meat on them. They were thrown away. This place was a waste of money and time. Please do not go to this place and hopefully they will go out of business. EDIT: Forgot to mention that half the employees were on there phones and the girl taking my order stopped twice to text someone WHILE she was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am still speechless about my experience tonight @ Popeyes! I pulled up into the drive thru approx 9:25, by the time I ordered and got to the window and paid it was 9:33pm, according to my receipt. I was told there was a wait of 15-20 minutes for my 14 piece tender meal. When I got to the window, I should have known that this was not gonna turn out well, as the cashier was high, another employee was hanging her cell phone out the drive thru window, for better reception I guess, I could hear loud laughing and everyone playing a part in what seemed like a zoo but this was what my kids requested so I parked and played on my phone while I waited. At 9:58 when they turned the lights out and I hadnāt received my family meal, I pulled to the window and there was another employee that said weāre closed and I asked, well, what happened to my food and presented my receipt. She proceeds to start screaming through the restaurant saying, what happened to her food, someone took it to the wrong car. By now, I am in awe and could not believe Iāve waited almost 30 minutes, as this was dinner for my family, for nothing and told they could give me a refund. I remained silent because I could not believe this was happening. This place was a zoo and everyone played their part to the very end. I should have known to pull off as fast as I could initially, but against my better judgement I let this scene play out. This is my first time to this location, as I am new to the Chandler area, but I have never experienced such madness at my previous local Popeyes in Gilbert, off Pecos Rd and Iāll never be back here. Totally Unbelievable! -10 is my rating! Travel @ your own risk! And if I want Popeyes, Iāll have to travel...
