I order from salad and go twice a week and I always get the same thing. And depending on where I finish my jobs I visit locations from all over the east valley and I tend to frequent this one, so I was surprised once I had this problem today.
I always order the same thing with two creamy Greek dressings on the side. today they put the two dressings in my wrap and told me that’s normal and that’s how they always do it which this is the first time it’s ever happened to me. They were teenagers and they seemed to have fun with the idea of making me mad and getting smirks on their faces and making snide comments. There was one young gentleman, working, who told them to give me the dressing without a charge after I’d gone to my car to get money but the teenage girl and teenage boy they were rude were laughing and making their comments.
I expressed that I order twice a week from salad and go, and this has never happened to me so for them to not be accommodating was complete lack of respect for customers. They should have some kind of customer service training. I wasn’t trying to get something for free. I was trying to express how my order is every single time. The manager should be appalled at the way that place is ran. If you’re going to have younger people working like that who get their kicks on pissing customers off and seeing how far they can take it you have a serious problem. You maybe shouldn’t be managing that location either because you clearly don’t know what leadership and mentorship is. anyhow looking at the reviews it seems like this location is known for a bad customer service so I won’t be...
Read moreI’ve only been here a handful of times and each time was okay until today! I accidentally messed up when ordering online and asked if I could change the cheese and was told it was already made and can not. Okay.. I just placed the order within a minute of driving up to the drive thru but when I worked here, we did that no issues! This location does not so that’s fine, I wasn’t going to hassle and I asked my partner if he could ask if we can get a refund instead! The girl on the mic around 2pm-3pm today said with attitude “ you want to refund an order over cheese?”. We said yes and she asked if we were going to reorder it and we said yes since we can’t have it be replaced! She told us it would mess up their inventory and I so get that! That’s why I wanted to refund and just reorder! She also did say the new black cherry drink and blackberry bramble lemonade were not available thru drive thru. Which it doesn’t specify on the app that’s it’s only walk up available. So clearly she was way more upset at us wanting a refund and seemed as if she was trying to punish us in a way which was so weird!! There was no need for that and could’ve been so rude back but I didn’t have the energy for that!! We both said yes to refund once again because this was just uncalled for and we no longer wanted to spend our money at this location. Truly no hard feelings, just didn’t appreciate such attitude when they couldn’t fix something so small either! I get not caring about losing 1 customer, I just recommend not coming here if you want an easy time for simply messing up! I hope your employees...
Read moreSalad and Go gets three stars from me. Food is good, comes out quick, and the staff is always friendly. It is a solid spot if you are on the move and pretending your life is together. Salads, wraps, breakfast, it all tastes good and gets the job done.
But here is my gripe, and yeah, maybe I am being picky, but it is legit. Their nutrition info feels like it was written by someone trying to win an award for creative math. They proudly slap 390 calories on the BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad, which sounds great, right? Until you find out that does not include the actual BBQ Ranch dressing. You know, the thing that makes it a BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad and not just a pile of greens and sadness.
You add that in and suddenly you are way over what you thought you were eating. Like way way way over. This is not a small rounding error. It is the kind of shady calorie dodge that makes people accidentally blow their daily goals and wonder why their jeans still hate them.
If you are going to market yourself as a healthy option, at least be straight up about it. Do not play the fine print game. Just tell people their salad is 600 calories so they can make a real choice instead of feeling like they got tricked by lettuce.
Three stars. Good food, solid service, but the nutrition label gymnastics knocked it down hard for me. I might not be coming back unless they decide to...
