Ambience was great, employees were super nice and service was fast and exactly as we ordered. The place was super clean and good music that wasn’t too loud. The 2 star rating comes from the food itself: Chicken burrito was dry, rice and beans were lacking flavor and the chicken was dry and tasted like canned chicken. Vampiro is usually something I love, it’s like a tostada loaded with tons of stuff. But look at the picture and you will see it’s covered in a sauce. It tasted like mayonnaise and was the only thing we tasted. Birria tacos were good, no issues with them but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat these birria tacos. They just weren’t as flavorful and juice as I am used to. The nachos might be my biggest complaint. We get nachos dishes at places all over the valley, we are used to beans, sour cream, lots of meat and guac. Not this. It was literally canned nacho cheese sauce with pickled jalapeños and some cilantro and meat and onions. The serving size was tiny and they were the more expensive items we ordered. I can say with strong confidence these are the worst nachos I’ve ever been served. Nice folks, but for the very high prices they charge I cant in good conscience suggest anyone come here.

Subject: Disappointing Experience with Incorrect Order Dear Taco Spot Team, I wanted to reach out and express my disappointment with a recent experience at your establishment. Yesterday, I placed an order for a variety of tacos to get a sense of the quality and options your restaurant offers. Unfortunately, instead of my intended selection, I received birria tacos by mistake. I immediately called to report the issue and was told that I could come by the next day, by 4 p.m., to pick up the correct order. However, when I called to confirm this today, I was informed that the solution I was given was not valid and that I would not be receiving the correct order as initially promised. This has been disappointing, as my husband and I were hoping to add a new taco spot to our list of go-to places. Given the lack of follow-through, we’ll be sticking to our local favorites, Tacos El Paisa and Filiberto’s, where we’ve consistently had positive experiences. Thank you for your time, and I hope this feedback is helpful as you continue to work on customer satisfaction. See pics: that’s birria

When I go to a Mexican Restaurant I judge it on Carne Asada first and foremost if they don't do that well then it's not worth revisting that is my Standard. Their Asada was not good 😐 it was very dry and not seasoned well to compound this they put from what one of my group over heard as a slice of American cheese under it which melted and became a sauce like what you get on a Philly cheese steak the flavors just did not work for me at all. Queso Fresco or Cotija please. Prices were kinda high but 1 taco was equal to 2 regular street tacos so I guess that's why The surf and turf was interesting the shrimp was good the seared cheese on the tortilla was better than the melted cheese on the regular Asada and the sauce worked. Pepsi products on the fountain drink were limited and not really fitting with tacos but I guess that's personal preference. 1 last complaint is there was not salsa bar and the 2 they came out with were not the best overall probably won't revisit not impressed at all also staff needs more training

Hate that this is the closet Location to my house because the past 2 times I’ve been here, the taller bigger girl & the short Hispanic girl have terrible service. Like terrible I regretted tipping them

1st time, they were super slow, didn’t even greet us as we approached the register. When we were ready to leave I asked for a refill on my agua fresca and the girls were going back and forth talking to each other with my cup in their hand, they were also on the phone. I got upset told them to just keep my cup and I walked out…

2nd time, I ordered Birria quesadillas & at other locations they ask if I want corn or flour, this girl didn’t ask, I assumed they will be corn tortillas because I also pointed at the picture of what I wanted and the picture had corn tortillas but they brought me quesadillas with flour tortillas. they brought our food out and before they brought our salsas, so naturally we’re gonna wait longer for them to bring what we need. Also apparently they took my ordered wrong and didn’t ring me up for a consommé, so as I’m eating I ask for it and they me I wasn’t charged, so I asked for her to bring it anyways because I did ask for it, completely no my fault those girls don’t pay attention, but instead she proceeded to charge me for the consomé. I don’t mind paying for my food but I also hate the terrible service I receive from those two as I am signed up from taco spot rewards because of how often I go. This is by far my least fave location. Might stop going...

The food is great. It’s the Service that is so awful that I would literally give it a negative star. The online menu doesn’t have the specials so I try and call ahead. It makes No difference because they make you pay over the phone while I’m driving. They don’t start your order till you walk through the door. What the heck is order ahead meant for them? They literally make me late every day for lunch because they won’t start my food when I call them. They wait till I walk in. So I never get my lunch Because of these people. And this is gonna be the last time I order I found someplace else that will literally make my food on time so I’m not late for work anymore so this will be my last time ordering for this problem. And it’s not like I get anything hard. It’s meat and cheese only. About two weeks ago, now I have to check my food because I can’t trust these people, I get all the way back to work to find they put cilantro and other stuff in it. I’m allergic to cilantro. And so I have to drive all the way back for them to correct my order. So now I have to check my food before I even leave. These people are so incompetent that this taco shop shouldn’t be open over here or get...
