Taco John's — Restaurant in Gillette

My boyfriend and I currently are regulars but not for long! The only good thing about this place is the food. The main problem is getting the food. We spend roughly $20 dollars a day there 5x a week. (we have a very specific order and they all know it) EVERY SINGLE MORNING we have to wait at least 5-10 minutes. And if you forget something and have to go back its another 5-10 minutes. By the time you get back to the food its cold. Better make sure you get everything in one go! We stood in the lobby this morning having a conversation with another regular this morning that also had to wait 10 minutes to get his order taken.

As far as the customer service, we normally receive normal customer service but the older lady that works there is rude! She asks the normal customer service questions but if you try to talk to her at all she responds like a zombie or just stares at you like you are the biggest inconvenience! Super disappointed...

On August 18th, 2019 I was in the drive through and ordered food for myself as well as my passenger. The total showed considerable more than what it should have been. I questioned it and “Savanah” replied with, “Do you want me to break out a calculator for ya?” When I approached the window, she proceeded to berate me for not being able to do math in my head. (The screen had not updated at the speaker.) She continued to chew me out and withhold my food until she was finished. Rather than post this online, I tried on four occasions to contact the owner. No call was returned. This woman was down right nasty. The owners are well-respected in Gillette and should take heed in habit this woman manger their stores. She is not the type of person any business should have...

The restaurant is a two in one. While normally that means quality of both diminish I was pleasantly surprised. The tacos were definitely up to standard and the strawberry cheese cake spoon bender was amazing as well. The restaurant was very well kept and all the staff I engaged with was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to see smiling face and staff that at minimum acted like they liked their job. I will definitely eat here again...
