Gaeta's Taqueria — Restaurant in Gilroy

We came here based on the Google reviews and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Also worth noting a couple of negative reviews from last year look to have been rectified. The toilet doors have signs in English and Spanish instructing customers to lock the doors (and they do lock) and everything looked very clean.

The waitress asked if we were dining in and when we replied yes, she asked us to find a seat and came over to bring us menus and take our drinks orders. Food was modified without any issue and even suggestions provided. We were updated on the status of our order while waiting and could see the lady talking to many tables to see how their meals were.

The food was delicious and so big, we could barely finish it. The breakfast burrito really was good with sauteed vegetables! Plenty of car parking out the back, accessed just before the train line.

This place is nothing special. I came here based on the great reviews on Google only to be disappointed. The food was not terrible but not great. I wouldn’t stop next time I am in town. The worst part was the place and the customer service was unwelcoming. The waiter was rude and short with her attitude. The place was extremely dirty and to top it off when I went to use the restroom. I walked in on someone using the toilet because the doorknob did not not lock because, it was broken to my surprise the female companion that was with me, had the same experience in the females restroom the door knob also did not lock. Never going back...

Stopped in on a drive to Santa Clara on a Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised that they celebrate/offer Taco Tuesday. $1.50 tacos unlimited. The portions were fresh, delicious, and larger than we expected for $1.50. We ordered a few of each flavor offering and weren’t disappointed with any of them! The staff were incredibly personable, attentive, and kind. They had high chairs available for little ones and the restroom was clean. Looking forward...
