McDonald's — Restaurant in Gilroy

One of the WORST McDonald's I have been to. Took the employees almost an hour to give me my food. After a couple of other customers who had got there after me had gotten their order before me, I had to go up to the cashier (who by the way was not well presented...messy hair) and asked her about my order. It had been 20 minutes and no food. They were talking to each other saying how MY order had gone out already. The lady who ordered infront of me had taken it. They called out #23 and the order placed on the counter was #24 (mine). The manager never took the time to apologize. Just stared at me. The only employee who did apologize was some girl with cheek piercings who by the way had messy hair and was wearing yoga pants. I don't know how the dress code is supposed to be. I used to work for McDonald's before for 4 years (shift manager) and I for a fact know they should be well groomed, black pants and no piercings and they should always after a mess up like that, the manager should always apologize. I myself would always offer an apple pie for the inconvinience or give their money back. Try to make it right. Anyways, after I had asked about my order. They took another 20 minutes to give me my food. They had no nuggets. It was ridiculous. I don't know how these employees are trained but they need to retrain them. Besides my order and the unproffesional employess. The restaraunt was a mess. Restrooms were disgusting. Trash all over the place. Drink station was messy. No ice. Sweet tea was out. All out of medium lids. Who knows how many customers (besides me) had asked for ice and lids. Employees never bothered to restock the drink station at that moment after being asked for an item. First customer who has to ask for anything that is out, employee has to go and restock. Make it right for the customer. They had who knows how many employees working, so they had enough crew members to send at least one to clean and stock. Some were just walking around eating, talking. So unprofessional. I chose McDonald's over Wendy's. Never again will I visit this McDonald's. HORRIBLE! Only thing I didn't like about my order was the fries. Seemed like they had been fried for more than 3 minutes. Too crispy. To top it AAALL off. Before my family and I left the place, I over heard one of the employees telling the customers (about 10) who were about to order, that they were all out of meat. How in the world does MCDONALDS run out of meat? About half the people in line just walked out. So RIDICULOUS. I don't know how this place passes its inspections. We stopped here to see if this McDonald's had the garlic fries that Gilroy McDonald's had had in the past. The ordering was pretty much done 100% from a non human kiosk which would have been fine if they had the garlic fries on the menu. They did not. When we went to the counter to find out if it was a special order item it took them 5 minutes to find someone who spoke English to tell us they had no idea what we were talking about. Seeing that we were not going to get any garlic fries and our only reason for coming to the McDonald's was for the garlic fries we used their very clean restroom and left. I'm sure the rest of the food was the usual sub par MSG filled food created by chemists to feed the waiting hordes addicted to chemicals they can not pronounce but they did not have garlic fries. McDonald's is no longer a fast food restaurant. It has become a very slow Vending machine. I placed my order online in the store and saw my order number pop up on the monitor. I waited 15 minutes and saw eight quarters pop up after mine and be handed out. I asked the one representative that I could find about the status of my order and I was asked to see my receipt. I told her that my number was on the screen. I showed her my receipt. She went and got a manager. The manager said that my order did not show up. I said my order is on the screen. After a bit of arguing and confusion they decided to pack my order based on my receipt on my phone. Mediocre food I can handle if it's done quickly and cheaply.
