Asian Buffet — Restaurant in Gilroy

Customer service was quick, responsive. The part that makes it really a no star is the quality of their food. I had grabbed a deep fried crab, noticed there was a short facial hair on it, embedded with the deep fried corn starch. As I brought it to the waitstaff's attention, she said: "Oh a hair? Let me see." Proceeds to pick it out of the crab. Tries to justify that it was from the mussels. Um no. It is not from the mussels. It was a sad bust for food finds for my inner foodie. Baked mussels were over saturated with sauce that wasn't cooked all the way because they layered heavy amounts of sauce. So when you bit into the mussel it was just kewpie mayo. Sautéed mushrooms tasted like it was sitting in some old sauce and expired. I like the honey walnut shrimp. They also had a spicy version of that, which was good. If a 0 star total was allowed that's what this place would get. My husband and I just ate at this place. We went off of the reviews thinking it sounded like something we wanted to try. We walked in and were seated. Once we got up to get our food we noticed the selection was not as accurate as earlier reviews. As we placed our selections onto our plates the food looked more moist then food should look. After eating what we could stomach getting through we asked for the check. Once paid and out the door faster then ever before we started on our way home. Not yet a mile away my husband started to feel ill. I immediately knew he was going to be sick. As I predicted hes been throwing up ever since we left. We will never eat at this place again. In fact we'll tell everyone we know never to come either unless there looking to get sick. 0-10, my vote 0...

The food was horrible, bland undercooked, stinky and sour like it had gone bad. We were a party of three and the lady who charged us was confused thinking we wanted to pay as one person instead of paying individually . I tried to explain that we wanted to split the check and said we weren't from around here and she just shrugged and was very sacracstic. Then she thought we wanted to pay as if we had only served ourselves once which we didn't, we served ourselves a twice trying to see if some thing else from the buffet was better but were equally dissatisfied. By the way we only spent no more than 20 minutes in here. The bathrooms were also nasty should have been our first indicator. Just horrible not even the money or time. If there was such a thing as negative stars I'd give it a -5. Worst chinese buffet ever. Dont waste...
