My family and I were very excited to find out that Enfield was getting a Jersey Mikes. I only had there sandwich a couple of time before at a different location and I was quite impressed. So when I heard one was coming close, it was super exciting. However, the bad experiences I have faced every time we get into the Enfield location is quite disappointing. I completely understood when they first opened that they had new crew and locals were very excited to try something new and there were delays. But every time I have gone there, there has been long wait and quite a show watching the crew make sandwiches. Today, 1-27-22, was the worst to date. There were a mere 6 customers ahead of me and when my turn finally came up, I ordered my regular #5. We waited for at least 15 minutes for our turn to come up. They finally made the sandwich and when I got up to the counter to pay, the system went down. I literally waited there another 20 minutes while the cashier was on a video call with the tech support trying to figure out the issue. During all this wait, the line behind me was obviously getting long. Not once during my long wait was I offered a solution but was told to wait. After waiting a total of 45 minutes, and no one knowing anything and telling me that they can’t do about it, I left my sandwich at the counter and left. There was not a single person there that was in charge to make a wise decision. I’m truly done with the lack of service. Even though I love the #5 sandwich, it is not worth the...
Read moreI'd give Jersey Mike's a 7/10. Good sandwich, better than many but not up with the elite. The bread was a bit on the thin side, they loaded too much oil/vinegar which doesn't bode well with thinner breads. The meat itself was solid, but the sandwich is littered with shredded iceberg lettuce, which just makes a mess with the excess oil. This also factors in with the tomato, it slides off the bread, and again, if the bread was a bit more on the hefty side it might be able to keep this sandwich together. Bread alone could have been the difference between a 7 and a solid 8. The cherry pepper relish was a fantastic addition, although it was the only thing outside of the norm that was offered to add to the sandwich. I wouldn't mind a coouple more frisky options. Value-wise I am quite full, but I feel I've found greater value at other establishments. If the sandwich was $1 cheaper, that may have swayed a point as well. Staff was not friendly, which I guess is authentic to Jersey, but I don't really factor that in since I don't care. I just want a sandwich. They'd have to be exceptionally terrible for that to affect the sandwich score. The sandwich was also cut into severely inequal pieces. Total Bush League in...
Read moreUnless they go above and beyond what you would get at any other location, I normally don't give reviews to franchise restaurants. Having said that, this business executed exceptionally considering the volume of customers they serve. After being told from Jersey Mike's in Rocky Hill, that no bread was available only wraps, I decided to drive down to Glastonbury's Jersey Mike's. I asked if bread was available and was told that they also were almost out of bread until the manager stepped in and made a suggestion with using the mini breads that was left apart from offering the wraps. This store truly delivered and took the extra mile to not only satisfy my needs but also 3 others who were part of my order. Yes, I did drive a few miles and spent some gas driving from one store to the next but in the end the trip was well worth it. Thank you GM Jonique Davis, AM Brandie Joyce, Ariana, Niko and Andrew for making my experience pleasant and for...
