Tonight a store manager over at 215 E North Ave named “Anais” (this name may be incorrect) was agitated with what seemed to be a business rush, and combative when her team member incorrectly charged me for an item. When bringing up to her attention, she became disgruntled and asked me why i didnt tell the person at the first window. I had simply made her aware the order was incorrect, but what followed was a level of condescension that seemed to stem from what i believed to be the sudden business rush. Not sure if she was ill prepared for this sudden business, but this is no way to handle ANY issue that YOUR companymen caused. Best believe that I will be making a legitimate attempt to make it so this manager is replaced because for her to act this way seems to be something shes VERY comfortable doing. If this is how the O’Keefe name wants to be spread through the franchise then by all means this specific store will not last long. There were countless other violations aside from the seemingly out of nowhere disrespect; the food i had ordered, not sure if due to the error made by her associate or the fact that this establishment is running on poor equipment, was UNDERCOOKED and very visible signs of what seemed to be unknown debris that Im not familar with. If i could upload a photo here I would, but I will be reaching out to my lawyers due to the fact that this seemed to be a malicious attempt by the manager and staff to again; act as thought no consequences would arrise from their actions. I say this because once her attitude was brought up (which was almost immediately) I asked her to please refund me, I didnt trust theire system or their integrity or intentions to do the job correctly but also act in a manner that was civilized. She proudly made me aware that “there were no refunds” asserting a smirk with her delivery of the policy. So obviously, with my money REGRETFULLY spent I had to get the food. The food that, again, is undercooked and seems to have been tampered with. i’ve documented the food I was given and will have matters escalated through the proper channels because this is not only ridiculous but it is a violation of numerous food safety protocols that the employee has to maintain, so i- and the rest of the public, can rely on them with a reasonable expectation so this WOULD NOT HAPPEN. I would love to get a response back from someone in regards to resolution. Again, this is no way to exercise your power as Management for the company and I believe that the franchise owners would have some concerns with a member of their workforce (a manager none the less) acting in such unbecoming...
Read moreThis McDonald's sucks. I must have tried to order several meals such as some that came with souvenir. Online they have it to order there but store says out. I was ordering multiple beverages such as the sweet teas when I was there in the actual store... cashier tells me she's out. Tried ordering like 3 more things she's like she out. Mind you it's pretty early. Then she gives me my cups. I get to the machine THEY HAVE NO ICE... UGH SO NO I HAVE TO wait again in line to ask for ice. SHE BOTHER CAUSE I ASK FOR ICE. SO THEY HAVE 2 DOORS. BY THE TIME WE FINISHED EATING AGAIN NOT LATE... SHE LOCKED THE DOOR I PARKED BY. NOW I HAVE YO GO AROUND. EVERYTIME I GO TO THIS MCDONALD'S ITS A DISASTER. ONLY 2 PEOPLE WORKING AND SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. CORPORATE NEEDS TO COME IN AND SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN. THIS IS NOT MCDONALD'S STANDARDS OF OPERATION. PROBABLY NEW MANAMENT NEEDED.
Response to management review
Nah I have the right place. If it's on north ave... its the right place. Google has this also as my saved location so no messing up the location. Not sure if 24 hours which I Don't really care. I'm telling you the lady did lock one of the doors that was closer to my parking spot. Maybe she didn't feel safe of whatever the case is but I tried pushing the doors with my daughters and the employee tells me they are locked and I have to use other door. Like I said before I went to serve my soda which I didn't want in the first place I wanted unsweetened tea but worked said they were all out. Since I had to get a second choice with now SUGAR ... that I have diabetes and just passed kidney stones... an went to push on ice... there was no ice. I did have to wait at counter cause of course they had a line. Even people in drive up was mad cause their order was taking too long and they were looking at me like if I can fix it. Like I said your employee did give me the ice after I had the soda in my cup... and she spilled my soda bouncing ice into my cup from the metal ice scooper. I know what I experienced that day and have my grown Daughter there as a witness. We can get down by pulling my credit card receipt... and being super picky and pulling times ... then looking at cameras for the horrible Experience I experienced at THE NORTH AVE LOCATION.... AND IF THIS IS NOT THE NORTH AVE LOCATION THEN I WILL...
Read moreI have never filled out one of the receipt surveys, however due to my incredible dissatisfaction with a location that I have been a long time patron of, I took the time to fill it out today. I ran out of characters and it kept timing out. (and please see the picture of the Large fries fresh out of the bag!!!) Will go out of my way to go to the Army Trail location from now on after 14.5 years.
I was unable to upsize the drink on a meal to a Large even though the cost of a Large is the same amount, so I changed what would have been an a la carte 1/4 pounder to a meal to get the Large. However I did not order a Large with the McGriddle meal and they gave me a large soda anyway. Then upcharged for cheese on the McChicken, but did not credit for removing cheese on the 1/4 pounder so I asked about that, and the associate said I'll get the manager. The manager said it would have been more expensive to order the burger, but the 1/4 pounder is bigger that didn't make sense to me. The manager was rude and just walked away (took the cheese up charge off so thanks for that, but didn't even say anything just huffed off), I was asking and trying to understand what he was explaining. Not being rude at all, my son was with me to attest to the fact that I was not rude. So when the manager just walked off, I asked the drive thru associate the name of the manager, and his response was "I don't know"... I said that's your manager, you know his name, I want to know the name of the person I just spoke with. He said "I don't wanna get into that"... "I'm not gonna tell you that"... "you can pull up and ask at the next window." Really?!? I certainly have the right to know the managers name who I just spoke to. I asked at the next window and the woman said the managers name is Manuel. So, then I get home with the food for my family and the Large size fries with the Large size meal are less than half full. I don't eat fries and my son with me didn't touch them so to spite the "customer" that questioned them about a "cheese charge" they screwed us on the fry order. Nice service. My family has been going to this location for 14.5 years and my husband frequently in the mornings....
