A friend recommended Dazzo’s to me, and today I made it a point to try them for lunch. They’re closed on Sundays and Mondays; so today was my first opportunity to come here. I was a bit enthusiastic 🤩 looking at the reviews. I made it in good time from Surprise. There’s adequate parking, and a drive thru. If you come to dine-in, be aware there are no bathrooms. I checked out the menu asking a few questions. They don’t serve a true Chicago style hot dog 🌭. What they dress on their Vienna beef franks is onions, relish, mustard, and hot peppers on a poppyseed bun. Fries are included with each hot dog. It’s like Gene & Jude’s back in Chicago; only no pickle. It’s a cool place; with a lot of history. The owner was there to show me a few photos. He has an uncle who was a professional prize fighter… bantam middleweight (?). I’ll have to Google 🔍 more, and return to try their Italian beef. The food is pretty good for the price. The only thing that disappoints me is no bathroom. The distance is not too bad, and coming around 3:00 helped to avoid traffic. Total after tax my bill came to $16.85. An overcharge that they rectified the following Thursday. Nice to know they show integrity in doing the right thing. Give them a try if you’re in the area. Update 10/17/25: Came craving a Gene & Jude’s style hot dog. It didn’t disappoint. Noticed they have pizza puffs, and wanted to go down memory lane from when having one of these over 40 years ago back in Chicagoland. It’s just as I remember how they were. 👍🏼

Dazzo's Dog House is a delightful stop for anyone craving a taste of Chicago in Glendale, AZ. Located at 6143 W Glendale Ave, this charming eatery brings back fond memories of classic hot dog joints. On my way to a rental listing in Peoria, I felt a wave of hunger and decided to treat myself at Dazzo’s. The atmosphere instantly reminded me of the vibrant hot dog restaurants back in Chicago, filled with nostalgia and warmth. I ordered a Polish sausage, a beef hot dog, and a large Coke, which came to a reasonable total of $17.15. The meal was absolutely satisfying, bursting with flavor and authenticity. After enjoying my delicious food, I felt energized and ready to assist my client with viewing the rental. Dazzo’s truly hit the spot!

What in the ever-loving is this atrocity? We love the sandwiches and fries. 5-star, no notes. But in an area of the country that does not lack amazing tamales, why is this act of war against Mexican cuisine on your menu? You could literally buy real tamales from any number of sources to resell. Why present this to your customers, and in this way?! The horrible taste and presentation aside, the masa was raw. This needs to come with a warning that even gas stations wouldn't sell this. No. Bad Dazzos, bad!

A True Glendale Treasure Bringing Chicago to Arizona! If you're looking for an authentic taste of Chicago right here in Glendale, Arizona, then look no further than Dazzo's Hot Dogs. This place is truly a hidden gem, a beloved fixture in the heart of Glendale for many years, and it's easy to see why. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a fantastic variety of classic Chicago-style eats, all at prices that will make you smile. Everything on the menu is delicious, but I have a few personal favorites that are absolute must-tries. The good old hot dog is perfection – a classic done right. And for a refreshing treat, their piña colada Italian ice is absolutely to die for! Seriously, you have to try it. Their chili cheese fries are also incredibly delicious, a perfect savory side. I'm excited to see how my dad likes the Polish dog I'm bringing him now! Beyond the incredible food, the experience at Dazzo's is made even better by the wonderful gentlemen working behind the counter. They're amazing – taking orders with a smile, preparing food with care, and making every visit a pleasant one. If you haven't discovered Dazzo's Hot Dogs yet, you are truly missing out. This isn't just a hot dog stand; it's a culinary trip to Chicago without leaving Arizona. You won't find this kind of authentic Chicago style anywhere else outside of the Windy City itself. Thank you, Dazzo's, for consistently delivering a wonderful experience and for being such a delicious part of...

I'm Chicago born and raised and am used to having Italian beef sandwiches as much as 3 or 4 times in a week. I have had some of the very best and so I'm a bit "picky". This place was recommended by friends (not from Chicago) so I joined them for lunch but it was for me a big disappointment.

While they make their own Italian beef every day and mine was obviously freshly made, the seasoning was weak and I think the beef wasn't allowed to cook long enough to absorb the flavor in the gravy. Frankly, I can make better Italian beef at home. Service was extremely slow at the counter because the counter person is also doing much of the food prep for each order. And I was shocked by the higher prices than I'm used to at other Phoenix places especially for adding sweet peppers to my order. The indoor atmosphere has gotten old and dated with terribly faded photos of Chicago landmarks.

The appearance of the dining area makes one wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen and staff. Worse yet, there is no restroom facility at all which is a must for washing your hands after getting the juices from your Italian beef sandwich all over your hands. One visit was enough for me and I would have been better off declining my...
