Mehh..
My boyfriend and I went there on our (try to) once a week date. We came at 4pm for happy hour and since it said to seat ourselves, we sat outside.it was our first time at that location (besides Vegas).
We grabbed menus from the stand and had a seat. We saw other servers from the inside buzzing around and even a server outside.
We waited at LEAST 10 minutes and still weren’t approached-We had already decided which drinks we wanted, appetizers, and food. Then a group of ladies from a bachelorette party of 8-10 come in and sit near us. One of the women went to ask herself for a server.. that server came and assisted them and gave them menus... all while STILL we sat there unapproached.
I flagged that woman down and this already has been at least 15-18 minutes. She said she’s not our server but she can take our order. We said we were ready with the whole thing.. we order the drinks and apps.. and as she’s carding us I place my food order.. and WALKS away without asking my boyfriend what he wanted to order. OH AND THE BEST PART—This waitress CHECKS HER APPLE WATCH as if she had somewhere to be.. while taking our order.
(I’ve been a server and I know how to get my party to order straightforwardly and to the point).
The other waitress comes out (probably 20-25 minutes later) and makes it seem so offensive that we got assistance from someone else-I’m laid back but if other parties that arrived later get served that’s not right. She said the other server that served us first had to go some soon (she was still there when we left).
Whatever, the ambiance was nice so it made me wayyyyy more tolerable. We ask the woman for two shots and my boyfriend another drink.. my boyfriend asked if they had Crown Apple as one of the we’ll drinks.. ($3.75 special) and she said yes and brought it. -Later we find out the Crown was $9.50. We asked and she said she assumed we knew... Hence why we ASKED. She asked if that was okay as if it was fixable.. no thanks. Also didn’t bring us our shots... we don’t say anything.. whatever oh well.
Waitress 1 comes out with our food and it’s the wrong order for me.. honestly no big deal.. but waitress 3 who brought it out had an attitude and was clearly talking sh*t to the other server in front of us.
Food was decent. Nachos could have used more cheese. Pizzas could have been a bit bigger. We weren’t full after, especially my boyfriend for the cost.
We’re an easy table to deal with.. I make sure of that from the years I’ve served. And that’s why my tolerance is the way it is because I know stuff happens.. but it’s how you approach it.
I want to give this 3 stars for the ambiance and the vibe.. but think I’ll just save that star for the Tempe location if I ever make it out. Shame because this one is only 20...
Read moreWill never go here again. Only went here because they had the best Mother's day deal going on that was posted on the Westgate page where it was $6 "Mom" mosas and 20% off mom's meal. We went during happy hour and ordered pretzel bites which should have been $3 off as well. As my daughter was drinking her mammosa she noticed her glass had lipstick still all over the glass. Gross, and she had some of it. We had to wait a while to get the waitresses attention, since we were on the patio and let her know. She apologized and eventually brought another one out. When we ordered, my daughter asked for a water, it was never brought. I reminded the waitress each time she came back to the table and still no water. Our food was 100% not made fresh, since we ordered and within 3 mins they brought it to the table, even before the pretzel bites. They did arrive right after and you could tell the pretzel bites were the frozen ones which they cut in half. Plus they got hard as bread does from microwaving does after a few minutes so, we couldn't finish them. Then, by being on the patio they hold your card hostage. We sat there for a good 30 mins waiting for the bill while she talked to the security and was on her phone. The music was too loud to even get her attention. Finally, when she came to the table and I said we would like the bill she whipped out my card and was ready to just swipe it. The hand held device sucks, one you can't physically see a breakdown, two it's hard to hear what she says the amount is due to the music, 3 I had to tell her the $6 mammosas. She went to confirm and then I had to ask about the 20% off the meals and she had to leave again to ask and I don't even know if the pretzel bites had the happy hour on it or the one mammosa came off due to the disgusting lipstick. It was a bad setup. Not to mention she was ready to just swipe.my card each time before I had to quickly object and ask about the prices. Then when she handed me to sign she selected the tip at the highest rate. I hate the fact that not only do they stand there, but, she was holding the device. I quickly did 18% even though I wanted to leave less. It was all just BS because it still seemed like the bill was off so I hit print receipt at the end when it asked no receipt or print. Of course, guess what, no receipt even if you select you want one. So why give that option. 🤔 The only positive thing I have was in the beginning she was friendly, then it went down hill. This was the first and last time I will ever go there. Be warned. I have pics but, not giving the...
Read moreCame here with some friends and were really disappointed with the service from both security and our server. The security guards were not as hospitable as others in adjacent bars. As soon as we sat down, we started browsing through the drink menu. Once our server came and asked us for our drinks, we were still indecisive and she rudely asked if we needed more time. We kindly said yes please and said thank you. After we heard her just murmur something under her breath and walked away. When she returned to take our drink order, we asked if we can have 2 separate tabs as we were 2 couples. She then took our drink order, and rudely said she needs a card to open a tab, when we clearly told her we wanted 2 tabs, or 2 separate orders. She then took one of our cards and walked away. Once she came back with our drinks, she took took our menus and walked away. Keep in mind we’re still browsing the food menu and were deciding what to order. That’s what was the last straw for us. We didn’t even bother to touch our drinks and asked one of the security guards that we’d like to leave and that we wanted our card back. Our server then comes back with our card and our receipt, again with an attitude. We asked why she took one card, and she rudely said she needed to open a tab, but brings us 2 separate receipts. Like I get there might have been a process, but she didn’t even bother to explain anything. We told her we were leaving and were not paying for the drinks. She just looked at us, and took the drinks and walked away with an annoyed face. We are not picky people, but the service was pathetic. We had gone to Salt’s next door the previous night, and let me tell you their service was excellent and nothing like the service at Fat Tuesday. We ended up going to Yard House instead, and not surprisingly, their service was...
