I will no longer come and spend my money at this venue. After using the same clear bag for over 2 years at this venue, I was rudely told that my bag was not allowed in and my options were to take it back to my car or throw it away. I was surprised to learn that only clutch, wristlet or wallet size bags are now the only bags allowed in...unless you have a diaper bag - then that gigantic thing gets in no problem. I don't have a problem with diaper bags being allowed in, but to restrict people who have items like glasses in glass cases, medication, or ear protection headsets are not allowed to carry those items in a clear bag into the venue is ridiculous. I asked to make a complaint to the management about their inconsistent rules, and was greeted by a very nice man named Jaime who walked me over to gate 3 so I could give my information to a staff person in charge of lodging complaints. The young lady I met at gate 3 was very nice. She promptly called for a staff person to come and assist me. About 10 minutes later, a man came up and asked what I was doing. The young lady explained that I was waiting for a staff person so I could lodge a complaint. The young lady asked this male staff member if he was the one sent to take the complaint because she was expecting someone else. He said no but that he would take the complaint. He proceeded to ask me what my problem was and I explained to him that I was very disappointed to be met by staff at the front of the venue and told the clear bag I've been using for over 2 years at this same venue was no longer allowed. The man told me that my bag has never gotten into the venue. I assured him that it had and to many events, including several Rattlers games, Monster Truck events and concerts. He told me that I wasn't being truthful and that bag had never been permitted. After essentially being called a liar, I told him the point of my complaint is that I want management to know that they should really review their policies or at least how those policies are enforced by their staff people. It's frustrating to be allowed access with a bag and then come back a couple weeks later and the same bag is not allowed in. When you park over at Tanger, walk over to the venue when it's warm or hot out, the last thing you want is to be denied entry after standing in line for 30 minutes because of your bag and being told you have to take the bag and contents back to your car or throw it away. Most the people who work at the venue seem to be pretty nice, but the few rude jerks who work there have ruined my experience for the last time. I will not go to any more events at this venue, and I will advise friends and family not to go to any events at this venue because of the way you are likely to be treated... RUDELY! You are better off spending your...
Read moreMy review is about 25% for the venue and 75% for security. The venue itself was in a very convenient location with ample parking even though we stayed at the Renaissance and walked over for the concert. Literally like 4 minute walk only because we needed to enter at gate 6 but if you can enter at gate 3 it's about a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The venue was clean and the temperature comfortable even though it was 116 degrees outside 🥵. I can't really comment on the seats, concessions, bathrooms, etc because we had tickets for the floor pit area. I can say that it was one of the more enjoyable pit experiences we've had. Not hot or cramped at all. Now for security, which is really why I wanted to leave this review. We came for the Chris Stapleton concert. I don't know if there's different security for different events but the security THIS night was amazing. Real talk. Not a one was unpleasant or rude. We came into contact with numerous security personnel and all were not only polite but genuinely seemed to be in a great mood. From the security check point to the floor security. They alerted those of us that had pit access when and where to line up and where to go ahead of time. My husband was getting us drinks so I went ahead to get us a good spot in the pit. Two different security personnel were like they would let him know where to find me and they held to their word. Before the concert actually started I saw them taking pictures for multiple people. A couple of ladies had a very small skirmish in the pit area (too much to drink?) and they were quick to respond and handled the situation appropriately. They had cases of bottled water in front of pit. They continuously passed out waters to people in the pit which I thought was phenomenal. Due to the extreme heat outside and people drinking they knew people would be dehydrated and were well prepared. Many of us helped pass waters to the people in the middle and back of the pit and security continuously expressed their gratitude for the assistance. After the concert they quickly and efficiently got us out of the arena. All that to say I was super impressed with security last night and thought they should be recognized for their efforts. And no I don't work for the arena or the security company nor do any of my family members. Just want to recognize a team that went...
Read morePaid $100 for VIP parking in addition to my pit tickets for the Killers two weeks ago. VIP Parking includes a VIP entrance to the venue. Doors were at 6:30, and 6:45 rolls around and the entrance had not been opened. Meanwhile, the other lines were open and people who didn't pay $100 for a shorter line were being let in.
Once we finally got in, the security working the VIP door that night were SO INCREDIBLY RUDE. One of the older gentleman even danced around mocking us and called a bunch of guests "Prima Donnas" because nobody told us that GA tickets could not use the Premium Parking VIP Entrance (that we all had paid $100 for). They told us to LEAVE and get in a different line!! Thankfully a supervisor came and walked us to gate 7 but not until around 7:15, when the pit already had plenty of guests. We sat around for hours to be treated rudely and lose our place in line because the instructions were not clear (in fact, contradictory). Nowhere on the parking page or in the terms of our tickets did it say we could not enter through the VIP Entrance because we had pit tickets.
To be clear, we have no complaint about the GSM who offered a solution to the misinformation on the website. She was lovely and apologetic. The ENTIRE rest of the staff, including "Prima Donna," were rude.
In an email thread with guest services when I originally asked if I should purchase VIP Parking, they said "unless you already have a VIP Package purchased and in that case I would ask you to refer to you “know before you go email.""
I did not have a VIP package, I bought VIP PARKING which it states all over the website that I would have access to the VIP ENTRANCE. There was no "unless you have GA tickets" and I didn't even get a "know before you go" email because I didn't have a VIP PACKAGE.
I was not the only one confused by this whole ordeal, either. There were several groups who had GA tickets and had purchased VIP parking because of the information on the site.
I have been very understanding up until this point, day 10 without a response or a solution from Gila to my wasted money and disgusting treatment to myself and...
