Amazing Christmas Eve dinner at the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Spa! Our family has a long tradition of Christmas Eve dinners in Glendale, most often at this hotel as we have stayed there often over the years. However, this Christmas Eve dinner was not only the best at this hotel, but almost certainly our best Christmas Eve dinner ever. The food was excellent as always (Cowboy Sliders - yes), but it was the service that made this one stand out, and in particular it was Dan who was tended to us that night. We traditionally eat in the bar/lounge area, as it is open to an absolutely beautiful lobby area, and also because seating was conducive to large parties like ours. However, that area was recently renovated (it's gorgeous), and the seating for larger parties is not quite as convenient, so it seemed like it was going to be a problem. And then ... Dan to the rescue! He saw us pondering our predicament, and immediately and graciously jumped in, assured us that it was no inconvenience, and proceeded to move as many tables as necessary (they are heavy!) to seat our party. And that was just the start. Throughout the evening, Dan was attentive, available, professional, kind, everything you could possibly want. It was truly and completely enjoyable. My wife and I often talk about how for dining, the experience matters - sometimes as much as the food - and that the service can make or break it. Dan was the epitome of how the service can make all the difference. As I mentioned, this was one of the best, if not the best, Christmas Eve dinners our family has ever had, and Dan made all the difference. Outstanding Service and Comfort - Exceeded All Expectations!

As longtime Marriott Bonvoy members, we've attended conventions at the Renaissance for 5 years but finally decided to stay overnight this year. Despite initial concerns about cleanliness due to the hotel's busy nature, we were absolutely blown away by the experience!

Our room on the 11th floor was immaculate, spacious, and incredibly cozy with fantastic beds that gave us the best night's sleep. The affordable rates didn't compromise quality in the slightest.

What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff's incredible service. After a big meal, I developed an upset stomach and needed a Sprite. When the front desk was out, I approached the restaurant at 10:05pm - five minutes after they'd closed. The staff didn't hesitate to help, going to the back to bring my husband and me two Sprites on ice with straws, completely free of charge. Their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond at the end of a long day exemplifies everything that makes this hotel special.

From front desk to restaurant to valet, every team member was courteous and helpful throughout our stay. The location is perfect too - walking distance to countless restaurants and attractions in the vibrant entertainment district.

I just wanted to say Damon and JT took care of me when nobody else would… Otherwise this would be a 1 star negative review. I lost my keys while setting up for a convention in the Media center and the last place I saw them was next to some stuff that was thrown away. I asked a few people and they all said that once the trash was taken to the compactor it was pretty much gone forever. Didn’t bother to ask a manager or anyone at that it was like they didn’t even care that I was stuck there. Few hours later after looking every where and finding nothing I went to the front desk and asked to speak to someone about the trash and they sent one of the same people I had already talk to that shut me down but I told them I wasn’t leaving till they either got me a manager or somebody who could help me out so they called the Damon and JT. Soon as they got there I explained the situation and boom we started heading to the compacting container no questions or bs they genuinely wanted to put my mind at ease! Thank goodness they did because we ended up finding them in one of the bags that had been tossed. They deserve a medal! I cannot thank them enough….
