I travel for work at least 50 days a year. I stayed in this hotel for 10 days over a hot two weeks. I chose this hotel because of the location compared to my worksite. Also, the fee for me to have my dog stay just for the weekend was very reasonable compared to other hotels ($150 flat fee for pets vs daily fee of $35-$55). The AC was excellent, it was 108-118 degrees outside during my stay and 64 degrees in my room! The pool was great in the shade.
Everyone I came into contact with was extremely helpful here. I drove in from SoCal and arrived around 7am. I met Alanna at the front desk who got me in a room immediately. Leiyah and Meghan each helped me several times as well.
I got everyone's name except who I think was the manager? She was incredibly understanding and instantly related to my issue. She was a woman of color in I think a business suit or blazer? She helped me with a minor issue right after Alanna upon my arrival and gave me points for my minor inconvenience.
Leiyah fixed my TV remote while I stepped out and was also nice and asked me about my day. I had an issue with my door and Meghan was very apologetic about the issue and had it repaired immediately by Luis, she offered to look for another room but I chose to stay. I never had another issue with the door after Luis preformed maintenance on it.
The bartender, Veronica was very friendly and helpful. I went to the bar on my last night there but I saw her around the hotel almost everyday. Everytime I saw her she had a huge smile and happy hotel guest. My dog was a fan when he stayed over the weekend. She also was open to overall crowds music choices of all genres.
When I come to this area of Arizona again then I will definitely be back.
I recommend this hotel and it was reasonable for business travel. It fit my hotel travel...
Read moreI always rate my hotel experience by cleanliness and staff. But there were a few minor things that added up to give it 4 stars. Me and my husband and two kids stayed in a double queen suite. These are very spacious. We had enough room to put an air mattress out of the way. The hotel is in a great location. Depending on the time of year you visit you could walk to a lot of places. It is right across the street from the entertainment district and stadium. However, it was July and in the 120's so we had to Lyft. But that wasn't bad because everything was close. The staff is fabulous. Everyone was so friendly and said hello and everyone I came in contact with asked if I needed anything. I even heard a lady telling someone she loves working here. So they must treat employees well. The whole hotel is super clean. Rooms were clean, linens clean and we had plenty of towels. They have a big selection at the breakfast bar. They also have a separate bar for the evening. There is a nice patio off of the bar. The entrance and lobby are spacious. Before you enter the building off to the right is another patio with chairs, tables and grills. They also have a laundry room, gym and an outdoor pool and hot tub. The things that I didn't find so great were that the pool was a little dirty, the bed wasn't the most comfy and the walls are super thin. I was woken up by people talking loud, a screaming baby and barking dogs 😬 My husband has stayed here several times because he works in the area. I know he will be back. Overall, great location, great hotel, amazing staff and great experience!!!!
*I didn't take a lot of pictures of our room because my husband checked in before me and I like getting pictures first thing when reviewing a hotel. Unfortunately I was...
Read moreStayed their few days back with a friend. Friendly staff very well kept hotel. I noticed in some of these comment that some praise the management, just becuase they over heard a conversation about how they love working there. Well not sure if that's even true, in my visit I have over heard a manager yelling, degrading and rushing one of her works. How do I now that, well I spoke with the employee and told her that it was very unprofessional of her to speak to her that way n wanted to know her name. Employee at first didn't want to do to fear of losing her job. I've been noticing alot of companies have been abusing and mistreating their employees here in the state of Arizona. Well all I know is that the manager name was Rosa didn't get her last name. After seeing this kind of abuse in a work place made me want to just comment to those that say that people love working there when your not 100% sure. Don't get me wrong I've travel to California,Texas,Nevada and I have never encountered such behavior or issues. So to cut this comment short Hotel is wonderful and outstanding, but managers need to be more considering with their workers that work very hard to keep these rooms nice and clean for us. Hope they correct her action and pray that no one else needs to see or hear that in there next stay. Thank you and hope to see...
