Johnny Rockets — Restaurant in Glendale

From my table I went back to ask nicely for a ranch hoping my burger tastes better from my first bite but was answered suddenly that “basically we charge for a ranch” so I just took more napkins and went back to my table to wipe off my hands as the burger is wet with oils, blood from the patty. I smelled around the burger to find what part I can take another bite but all smelled bad so I divided it into half and my hands is all wet now and all juices dripping from the fillings took a bite and spit it out privately. VERY BAD FOOD. I do not want to deal with it as I do not want ruin my day but was way frustrated of the food!!!! BTW the lettuce in the burger was yellowish and black on the tips…I removed it before taking my first bite…I remember I ordered the third one in the menu too expensive to pay for a trash!!!! This place is awful. The workers are really nice so that's a saving grace but it's expensive and the food is BAD. We got two burger, 3 fries and 4 shakes and it was over $90. When our food came out it was bland, unseasoned, soggy, the fries were cold, they messed up my burger and gave me a single instead of a double then took fifteen minutes to give me another patty and by that time the rest of the food was also ice cold. The shakes were slimy and warm and tasted like a mix of strawberry and chocolate so I don't think they cleaned in between blending. We got a refund for the shakes. The GM was nice enough to offer 2 comp cards but from my experience as a GM of a similar restaurant they severely undershot the fix. In food service you're supposed to over apologize, give comp cards, refund the shakes, re make the shakes for free, take care of the customers so that they see you care that it was messed up and that you have pride in the restaurant and I didn't...

Staff was unattentive. Food was cold and overcooked. We were there at about 8 PM With 3 toddlers. We asked for water and fries to start to tide the kids over and that took 20 minute. That was after sitting down and waiting 10 minutes in a mostly empty restaurant for initial contact. We were told to sit so we didn't just walk in and sit down. The staff was busy talking to what looked like friends at the counter. When we asked about shakes we were told that they cannot make them after 8 PM. I checked my watch and it was 8:01, remember we waited to order drinks for 10 minutes. Then when my friend took the girls to the bathroom, our server told her that she was just about to go to the bathroom. May I remind you that she was bringing 3 toddlers to the bathroom and did NOT interfere with the server. Make up your own mind but we will not be going there ever again and I have reservations about going to any more Johnny...
