Ever had the best? Well, you can if you eat here. The best seafood, the best fries, the best tea, the best condiment bar, the best service, people and environment... Pier 83 cannot be beat.
Many people think Red Lobster when they want good seafood but can't spend hundreds of dollars. Eat here and you'll never think that again. Pier 83 is more affordable, fresher and the environment and employees are better in every way. I used to go here often years ago but moved and neglected to continue. My son took me again and some friends there for fathers day and it reminded me that I do know the best seafood spot in all of Arizona. The new crew (manager, customer service team, and chef) are even better now. I was blown away today with the service and as always with the quality.
My only advice is to take down the photo of George Lopez being there. With the hate, racism and division he stands for he may make some people never return. Sorry to say that but it's his fault for being a despicable human being. Better to just focus on your every day human and un-famous fans and local community than to idolize someone who is helping to divide society and is so blatantly hateful and harmful to us all. My opinion, but as horrible as that man is you will lose people forever by showing your pride in feeding someone who does so much harm to society. Your local people are what keeps you going, and as you know he will never be back nor will he support you. We all know you comped him anyway. What good does having his picture on your wall do? I promise that plenty of people will not return based off of seeing that. My son amd friends being some of those as it came up today. I as well was sad to see it. If you don't believe me Google him and you will see the reasons he should not be something to brag about. Unless you want to stand for racism, hate, division and politics. Then, you do you and keep those away that see the photo.
Other than that, great job team. Your food is amazing and your team ensures loyalty and appreciation. I cant wait to come back and continue being one of your loyal fans. Unless I see that photo again. Then Red Lobster just might win me back. It's not because I disagree with his politics. It's because i disagree with racist and blatantly hateful human beings. All politicians and racist people should be eliminated from society. Especaill great restraunts. Like Pier 93. :) All the love and thanks. Well done.

Read moreWe went twice during lent. The first time, everything was great and we couldn't wait to go back. The second time, the cashier was a little "off". When she called our number, I got right up and stepped to the counter, maybe 30 seconds. Another customer was was picking up the bags. I told her my number, the one she'd just called, and she looked at me blankly. Then I asked if she had called that number, she mumbled No. We'd been waiting awhile, waited more, the manager/owner had overheard the exchange, came over, said they were working on our order, gave us cups for drinks. I already had a drink. Finally, she said our order was ready (it wasn't busy, and we were sitting right across from the counter pick up area). She said that the other customer had taken our order. She'd gotten about $50 worth of food for about $15. Actually, the cashier had given the other customer our order. I had my receipt with my number on it. I asked for malt vinegar, she said they were out. I said that was ok as long as I had tartar sauce. She'd been putting cups of tartar sauce in bags in prep for orders. Got home (20 minutes drive each way), no tartar sauce! The fish was a little bland, hush puppies were over cooked. I'd think since they screwed up majorly, they'd make sure everything was perfect, at least. We won't be going back SO...received a response, not very impressed. We ordered in the restaurant to go, not online or by phone. It was probably fourish, not busy, the cashier spent a lot of the time we waited opening to go bags, adding tartar sauce, utensils, etc. She gave my order to the wrong person even though I questioned her. So, another customer got TWICE what they paid for, I had to wait TWICE as long, and then didn't get tartar sauce when I asked for it. Saying things get busy and don't always go 100% was, taking no responsibility except for basically somethings stuff happens - the woman literally called my number, I went immediately to get it, said I'm #_, that's my order, and she said, no it wasn't. - not much of an apology. And I was...
Read moreI'm from New England, about 45 minutes from the seacoast, and now live in Arizona not even near a seacoast. I long for fried fish and seafood. When I heard about this place, I knew I had to try it. I was on my way home and ready to try so I stopped in. Actually, I parked in the parking lot and ordered online for takeout. I didn't want to mull around inside. I went on their website and looked at the menu. The Order online button was right there. It was very easy and they emailed my receipt and said they would text me when it's ready. Easy process. Right on time, they text me. One of the thing we get in the Northeast is Haddock, similar to cod. They had it, most places do not, so I was excited. I ordered this Haddock Fish & Chips. It came with fries and Coleslaw. I ordered my husband Cod Fish and Chips. When I order fried food, I usually have it in the restaurant. Anyone who's had good fried food knows once it goes in a contains for even 5 minutes, the batter goes from wonderfully crunchy to soggy. When I got home it was indeed soggy but a little of the crunch was preserved. This was not the restaurant's fault as I knew this but wanted it anyway. Next time I'll eat there. The dinner was good. Other than the unavoidable soggy, the taste was great and they gave me plenty of tarter sauce! My husband liked the Cod. The food was good and I will return. We enjoyed it. It's not New England but it's close...
