Came visiting from Seattle and heard about this place from my parents. We ordered the mini combo: 3 skewers, 2 Pao de queijo waffle, and 1 empanada and also got 2 pastel (my favorite!!) And 2 guarana.
We chose the chicken, beef, and pork belly skewers - they were very flavorful and hearty! I couldn't decide which one I liked the most. I loved that the pao de queijo was in waffle form - very cute and loved the texture it gave!
They recommended we eat the pastel there because it's fried and would taste better to eat right away. But we had our dog with us(he kept trying to run inside because it smelled good :) ), so we decided to take it back home - it was still very delicious and held up pretty well (was still warm and crispy) but, I hope I can eat it fresh next time!
I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu items!!
The owners here are also very sweet, I appreciate that they came out to say hello and gave my dog...
Read moreI've been three times now with my little girl, who is 4. This is her favorite restaurant now. She's always asking to go. The atmosphere is casual and staff so friendly. It's perfect for a little girl to practice restaurant decorum. I have Brazilian family and have visited Brazil many times. I've been to many churrasqueiras in Brazil, Miami and LA. I can't think of one that cooked the meat any better. It's consistently cooked perfect and seasoned deliciously. I've tried something different that surpasses my expectations every time so far. This visit it was the fried chicken!! Hands down, the linguiça is the best I've had anywhere. The flavor is different and to me, much better. My daughter loves the waffle shaped pão de queijo, of course and the carne skewer. I don't blame her,...

I haven't had grilled chicken hearts since I was in Brazil and they were fantastic. The Pão de Queijo waffles were outstanding. While vinagrete and farofa are two very traditional sides in Brazil, they felt a little out of place without some arroz e feijão. If I were getting a to-go order of their feijoada (they only sell it frozen), I'd definitely ask for some farofa to go with it, but sprinkling farofa on anything other than beans and rice just felt weird. I will definitely go back to try some...
