Hi there - first off, thank you so much for serving the public at a trying time & for honoring front-line workers. An important, caring note from a local Nurse: in order to protect yourselves and the public you are serving - please please wear your masks over your nose and mouth when interacting with customers. I was so impressed with your conscientiousness the other day and felt so uncomfortable, stuck, and caught off guard today when my payment was (so politely/sweetly) taken by an employee with a mask resting on her chin. That sadly does not protect either her or myself. I write this out of true care for you and your customers to stay safe, especially if you seek to honor people who are already on the front lines, very high risk, and very exposed.. I should have politely said something in person, but I was surprised, couldnât find the words, and didnât feel when I was first greeted by a different employee that I was given the time of day to begin with, unfortunately.    Read moreAfter I paid, the cashier asked if I wanted my change. I don't believe this should even be a questionâof course, I would expect to receive my full change. She returned the dollar bills but kept the coins without offering them back. I had planned to tip and still did, but it felt presumptuous for her to assume she could keep part of my change. While it's just coins, the principle matters.
