I typically am not one to leave a negative review but I was MASSIVELY unimpressed with this Verizon retailer.
The associates were rude and spent much of my visit yelling across the store at their manager to find out the answers to my very basic questions regarding my plan. One spent the entirety of my interaction leaning back in her chair, playing video games on her Switch. Nobody discussed the conditions of my plan with me beyond the questions I pointedly asked, and when I got to my car I found that the associate I worked with had enrolled me in a $17 protection plan that she did not mention to me once. When I returned to the store, the manager tried to “sell me” on the plan so I could get “the free month of protection” that I had never been informed of. I asked the associate to cancel my plan and she appeared to do so on her computer - HOWEVER, I received a notification today (almost 2 weeks later) that the protection plan is still in effect. Another Verizon employee told me they get bonuses for adding on protection. These associates are trying to sneak add-ons into your contract for their personal benefit.

Read moreDrove 24 miles round trip to upgrade from an old style clamshell cell phone to a refurbished Samsung Galaxy S10. This was my 1st smart phone and didn't know much about it. Staff guy transferred my contacts successfully. I asked "Am I good to go then?" He answered 'yes.' Got home and figured out that I needed a SIM card for the phone to be activated and to work. The staff guy never mentioned a SIM card or that the phone still needed to be activated. Drove another 24 mile round trip to get the SIM card and to activate the phone. Was told they did not have the necessary SIM card. I thought the staff guy should have gone the extra mile to make sure my phone was ready to go, but he didn't. Very UN-PRO in my opinion.The store had a large framed mission statement sort of thing on the wall which boasted how great they were, how professional they were and how their customers were so happy. They should take that plaque off the all, it's a lie. And I will be sending them a bill for the gasoline I burned on the unnecessary 2nd trip. Read moreTERRIBLE SERVICE! Could not believe how RUDE the male customer service representative was. Could not even make it to the counter to get a name before he started yelling across the store "what do you need today?" When telling him that the phone wasn't recognizing the SIM card his response was "then it won't recognize any SIM card, send in an insurance claim and wait for a new phone" he did not even attempt to look at the phone which is one that uses a small tool to access the SIM card which we don't have because we are here on vacation. We responded with "I understand why you have a 2 star review" he then became angry and started shouting "What did you say? You wanna come in here and say that again?" And again, there were at least 2 other customers in the store. Cannot believe how terrible this place is! And after going to one of the other retailers in town and accessing the SIM card with the tool the card was wiped and put back in and the phone is PERFECTLY FINE! Thanks for...
