The first issue I experienced was that I told the cashier exactly what I wanted several times and she repeatedly (4 times) asked me if I wanted to make them combos. All I desired were sandwiches and told her. Then I had to wait for a minute or two for her to change the screen because she automatically made my orders combos even after telling her I only desired the sandwiches.
I don't know what happened with my sandwiches but I ordered a smash burger because I've never had one and didn't know they existed. I also ordered a Super Sonic Double Cheese Burger which I generally love after I add some salt and pepper. Being or was dark and I couldn't see well, I began to eat what I thought was the Smash sandwich and didn't care much for it. Later, I ate the other sandwich and was completely disappointed! When I checked the wrapping, I realized that the burger I ate in the dark was supposed to be the Supersonic Double Cheeseburger. Both sandwiches were trash and it will be a long time before I return to this location. Another thing that aggravated me was that they did not have any packs of salt amass pepper! What restaurant fail to provide these packs for their customers? The staff tried to explain that their supplier had been out for over a month, but I don't believe her. I entered my stall number through the app and my information popped up in which it said my order was being made. I sat there for nearly 30 minutes until I pressed the button. I told the woman who answered that I had a mobile order from my name and I was just curious to when my order was coming. The lady got a snappy attitude towards me and stated “well everyone else out there has to get theres as well”. While that was true and one lady was running around (so I was patient to start with due to the lady obviously being busy) I totally understood but I just don’t feel like putting ice cream in a cup with some hot fudge on top did not take that long. We had high hopes and even tipped generously, hoping for a good experience. While the server was kind, with a friendly smile and quick to grab us some ketchup when we asked, the food itself was a major letdown.
We both had our mouths set on some classic corn dogs, remembering how deliciously crispy and hot they used to be at another location. Unfortunately, the corn dogs were rubbery rather than crispy, and they were only lukewarm—completely missing that satisfying crunch and flavor. The toaster sandwich was also not hot, making it feel like the whole order had been sitting out for too long.
