As of recently this location for Chipotle has taken a hit in terms of quality, both for the food and the service. Not entirely sure why but the recent reviews definitely help show that: I have been disappointed a numerous amount of times by this location as of recently for many different reasons, but the two main ones that have come up again and again are mobile pickups and order accuracy. Many times I have scheduled a pickup for a specific time, arrive on time, and am then expected to wait 20-30 minutes before I ever get my food. Even worse, the staff purposefully push a notification through to the app saying your food is ready, even though it isn’t; this is so that when you go to complain on the app, and are forced to talk to their AI chatbot, “Pepper,” you are just shut down and told that they sent the food out on time. In many other cases I have received food that very clearly was not my order; The bag will have my name on it and the tag on the food will be a completely different name, or vice-versa. It’s rarer to have your name on the food but the wrong order inside, but that has happened to me at least twice, and my family has ran into this issue many times with larger orders. Overall the quality of this location, and so the quality of its reviews, has gone down considerably in the recent months. Sad to see a location that used to be one of the best turn for the worst. Seems every time you complain to their HR, all that happens is they get a slap on the wrist, and nobody takes accountability.
Edited in December: I wanted to say that this location has gotten consistently better since my posting, and I have not ran into an issue for a very long time. The waits can be long and certain people at the cashier’s side are a little inattentive to mobile orders, especially since they don’t just leave the orders out anymore, but overall this location has improved and I have reflected that in my change of review. Read moreGO TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION‼️I would like to say I have visited this chipotle frequently with my boyfriend, and the other day the portions were so very incredibly small to the point I could count the number of beans in my bowl at ease. The workers constantly skimp out on your serving portions and don’t even care. The food technically is not coming out of their pay check. I was incredibly disappointed when I was starting my bowl and my friend in front of me already was given an extremely small amount of rice. When it was time for my order no doubt the employee did the same exact thing with my rice, it was not even covering the whole bottom of the bowl. I would feel I went about the situation in a mature manner as they were in a big rush and I also deal with the fast food industry so I have some sympathy. I politely ask for more rice and so the worker adds a little more then proceeds to give me about 20 black beans and gives me a fair amount of meat finally because I think he realized I was upset. I wonder why? Then he rolls his eyes and rudely mutters under his breath, “I can’t give you anymore”. The attitude was breath taking. I understand jobs can be rough but I paid $30 worth of food and was given a few bites. As a customer I would never recommend this specific chipotle. The taste was there but the employees are not professional. Read moreSorry to say. But I think I'm gonna give up on this location. Last time I was here. It was 230-3pm and needed to wait on some barbacoa. No hospitality on a free drink cause I gotta wait cause of there not knowinghow to keep up of demand. No kind what so ever. Yesterday arrived to get 2 bowls one carne asada n barbacoa. This was May 10th 2023 Wednesday..between 3pm n 4pm. Well no lettuce to be seen. Didn't even make the customers aware. And no substitute offered for there running out. I think I'm taking my business elsewhere. I myself don't care for this to me it's like a taco is to a mex taco shop. Grandson eats this. I feast at Zamoras in Old Town Avondale try if your looking for REAL Mex eats. Chipotle on Lichtfield needs to up there game and get a course on good customer service from In n Out or even Dutch bros. I understand totally how in this time of having to employee youngsters that are not even close to our 70s n 80s teen hospitality up bringing and knowledge of working FAST pace jobs. But we must run a tight ship. It's a business. Not a summer camp break volunteer activity. Managers should be managers and crew should be a smiling individuals.
