Henry’s Hawaiian Grill — Restaurant in Goodyear

My family and I have been coming here for a while now. We often order carry out, but today we decided to dine in with our 2 year old. Unfortunately my husband found a very questionable hair in his noodles. He was very calm and discreet and in a soft voice let the lady at the counter know and gave her the plate. She took the plate and said she would make another one. I couldn’t finish my meal after that. My son had also eaten from that plate. We stayed a little longer but couldn’t finish our food. It’s very disappointing because we loved this place. We know mistakes happen, but how does that questionable hair (not from head) land in your food? The cooks kept looking at my husband and it just made this whole experience so uncomfortable. They have cameras there, so they can check who’s messing with their food. ⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ I stopped by Henry’s Hawaiian Grill in Goodyear and tried their Katsu Lunch Special. The chicken was cooked decently — juicy enough and breading had a good crunch. Unfortunately, their katsu sauce really let the dish down. It lacked depth and flavor — felt flat next to the otherwise solid components.

Service was friendly and the ambiance was casual and relaxed. I would go back to try something else (maybe their poke or loco moco) but for katsu, I’m left wanting more.

my friend and I decided to try this place and happened to walk in during their lunch special hours, so our order of the sesame chicken was only $11 after taxes!!! so affordable, the most affordable hawaiian bbq place I've come across, considering most places range between $15-$30+ per plate, at least from my experience. the food did not take long to make, maybe around 8 minutes? and it was really good! nothing bad to say about it at all. mac salad was delicious (especially when refrigerated as leftovers!), rice grains are cooked perfectly and to my liking, and the chicken was amazing! the rice and chicken heated up perfectly as leftovers the next day. can't wait to come back to this place and try out their...
