From 4 stars my rating dropped to 1 star . Why is that ? Because of the way they handle tips, it's very bad business practice. I will start with my negative review and then add what I liked. Yet ... I keep my 1 star due to the way they handle bills and tips. I went in with my friend and ordered an item from the Happy Hour priced at $10. They brought a bill for both of us , not a separate one although we were paying separately. They did not charge the Happy Hour menu and instead added a random $17. This was noticed upon the review of the recipe and brought to the server attention. We got another revised receipt with all kind of "manager" discount . Whatever ... the bill seemed to be right . My friend paid cash including her tip and I asked to be charged $13 including tips ( for the $10 happy hour menu ) on the card . I got the receipt and at the tip I mentioned that it was included in the price. Shortly after I got home I noticed that I was charged an extra .99 cents ! Was this for additional tip or what ? Did they charge my account without my approval? A lot of questions. It's not worth for me to fight the $1.00, but be careful if you eat here . Check your receipts and make sure you get charged what you're expecting to pay. The server was a nice girl but man ... it took forever for someone to come at the door and greet us although it was not busy and take us to a table. The only thing I liked was the cute place and the food . I got a quesadilla which was a pretty good portion for a happy hour. But seriously! Again ! I am so mad at the way they "steal" from you. Check your order and make sure the total makes sense.

This was possibly the worst service experience I’ve ever had. Despite not being busy at 11:30 on a Saturday morning, we waited over 15 minutes for a table. There was no hostess in sight for about 8-10 of those minutes. When the hostess finally arrived, she said “a table will be ready shortly,” then disappeared for another ~10 minutes. Finally, a second hostess appeared and finally got us seated. Our server, Valerie, also provided poor service and was nowhere to be found for nearly all of our meal. Again, they were not busy. I counted 10 occupied tables and three servers in total working our section. The restaurant had just opened about an hour prior when we arrived, and there were no clean spoons, so my son was unable to eat his macaroni and cheese. I was told the spoons were “in the dishwasher.” My son’s side was also incorrect, but when addressed, Valerie did fix it for us, which I appreciated. I will definitely not be back. We wasted over an hour of our life just waiting for hostesses and our server for basic requests. Not to mention the food was mediocre at best. Both the chips and french fries (my son’s side) were completely bland and flavorless.

Came here on June 20 for a birthday dinner. Surprisingly for 7:30pm on a Friday night the place was dead. There were only two other couples and a party of six. The ambiance was so bright. It felt like you were in a surgery room. Wish they would dim the lights a little lower. Way too bright for a restaurant setting. I tried ordering the souvenir margarita mug but they were sold out and on back order so that was a bummer. Our waiter was Jose. He’d only been here for three weeks but seemed like a seasoned vet! He was very attentive! I ended up ordering a wild berry margarita $9.50 and the Baja chimichanga with carnitas $17.99. Jose recommended I get the Baja sauce on the side. So glad I listened. The Baja sauce was good but very overpowering. I would’ve hated it smothered over my chimichanga like it is intended. The chimichanga was good. The carnitas were flavorful and tender. Overall a good experience. I recommend asking for Jose as your waiter. He kept our water and chips filled. He brought us things we needed before we could ask. It’s as if he knew what we were thinking/needing. Awesome waiter!

Oh My! It was a family birthday dinner. Absolutely the worse service and worst food I have ever had. We came at 4:30 pm on Sunday to miss the big crowds and it still took 3 hours to serve us dinner and dessert. It was Happy Hour but we were told we couldn't have any Happy Hour drink prices unless we sat in the bar or patio. Since we were a table of 7, we opted for the patio. From there it was downhill. It was 52 minutes from the time we finally got to order dinner to the time it actually showed up. The green chili stew, supposedly a special recipe dish, was so salty it was inedible. Described as "Award Winning Green Chili Pork Stew....topped with shredded cabbage (sic) Pico de Gallo. It was literally a scant 1/2 of a cup of over salted stew in a baby fry pan with three of the tiniest shreds of cabbage on top. No Pico whatsoever. Accompanied by a cold cup of black beans. My husband's beef fajitas was chewy and overcooked. I had to drink water constantly from taking a bite of the stew but our water was never refilled by anyone. I asked three times (since the waitress only appeared three times in three hours). We had to go to the bar to get our own drinks because we couldn't get service at our table. The birthday girl asked for a Bloody Mary. She was told they didn't have Bloody Mary mix. She then asked for their specialty drink listed on the menu - Kalua Colada. We were told they didn't have the ingredients. Then she asked for a frozen margarita and was told they could only make it on the rocks. Are you kidding me??? What Mexican food restaurant can't make a frozen margarita? When we were leaving, other patrons literally mentioned that they saw our terrible service and wondered if they had just forgotten us? For this, my husband paid $150 for food for three and $100 for drinks for the table. This didn't include the food bill for the other four members of the family. Memorable for the worse food and service we...

My girlfriend and I recently visited this location for lunch on a Saturday. I am not one to go online and write reviews trashing a place, but this restaurant was absolutely disgusting. We sat on the patio. The entire area was a mess. There was food on the ground and the table was filthy. The waitress noticed the table was a mess and said she’s be back to clean it off. While she was there she asked if we were ready to order, but we never had been given menus. She brought us menus but didn’t clean the table. I ordered a draft beer and a couple street tacos, and my girlfriend ordered a margarita sampler and an enchilada. When our drinks came, my beer tasted awful like it was poured into an unclean glass. My girlfriends drinks were all warm. When the food came I noticed my plate was worn and looked heavily used. No big deal, but it made me start looking closer. I noticed the corner of the plate was broken and had a sharp edge. I could have gotten past that, but then I saw the one thing that completely disgusted me. There was a large black hair on the edge of my plate peeking out from under one of the tortillas. I was speechless. When I pointed it out to the waitress she offered to bring me a fresh order. I was completely disgusted, so I declined. I wasn’t about to eat anything out of that kitchen. No manager ever came to ask how we were doing, and everyone seemed like they were lost. The back servers were carrying around trays of food but didn’t know who ordered what, so they asked each table if what they had in the tray was what they ordered. Overall it was very poorly managed, completely disorganized and unsanitary.

If you want Mexican food, go someplace else! This restaurant is terrible. I will not...
