Worse Subway restaurant in the United States. I was on vacation going to a family reunion, only one person working and if you are a senior citizen, that is okay if you still need to work or don't want to retire earlier, but you shouldn't be working alone. At all. Period. At that age and if you frail. This Subway location, the person didn't care we were on vacation, was going super slow, we waited over 40 minutes and still haven't been served due to the slowest service ever. If you want your own Disney's Zootopia moment, perfect place for you. There were 2 people in front of us and it took the one employee 25 minutes to make and serve 2 sandwiches, plus a family before that had 5 sandwiches. We walked out and went to the Subway in East Hartford, CT off I-291 and US 5 where the employee at that Subway location felt really bad for us we received this type of service at this Subway location. Very beyond unprofessional and unacceptable service at this Subway location. If I could give zero or negative stars on Google, I would. I will be complaining about this Subway franchise at the Milford CT Subway headquarters which is a shame that they are in the same state as their International headquarters. We were leaving a family reunion and got this awful service after saying goodbye to the relatives. Made my day of my vacation much worse trying to get lunch at this Subway location. Line didn't move at this Subway location...
Read moreI’ve never had an issue with the food here and if you do you can just talk to the employee making your sandwich about what you’d like done differently so all those 1 star reviews about the sandwich being made wrong are stupid IMO. However, I’ve heard from multiple subway employees at multiple locations that they’re not being given the tips they earn when a customer tips with a card (as I often do). The employee that told me this in Granby no longer works there but he was great and always asked me if I’d like any additional veggies etc. Just seems pretty scummy to me that either the franchise or the individual owners do this to their employees. There was only one person working who was very professional and nice, but incredibly overwhelmed by the flow of customers. Later we learned the app placed the order despite the error message. When we got in touch with the manager, he was incredibly rude to me and even said “the app is not his problem”. The shame of it was that we would have simply picked up the extra food if there was no way to cancel it. Instead, this manager made the choice to belittle me and speak with a raised voice.
