Granby Liquor World — Local services in Granby

I have been to this liquor store many times; however, after my experience yesterday I will not be going back. I purchased 2 bottles of La Crema chardonnay Monteray 2018. The cooler reflected a price of $17.99 which is $2.00 more per bottle than at least two other local liquor stores. Was not a huge deal but when it rang up at $18.99 a bottle, I questioned it. I explained that there are different La Cremas the more expensive having a cork, and the less expensive a screw top. I was flippantly advised that all La Cremas are the same and I wouldn't be charged extra because the bottle has a cork. I indicated that they were different years but still no acknowledgement that I might be correct. I did not want to make a scene with other customers waiting but I felt insulted. I will not...

I was in the area and had to stop in to get some Christmas gifts and stock up for Christmas festivities. Liquor World is in a plaza with plenty of parking. They were well stocked and organized. They had everything a liquor store would normally have; from wine, craft beers, bourbon, spirits, and more. The prices were comparable to other liquor stores. They had candy canes that were filled with moonshine and whiskey; we bought a few of those for Christmas gifts because they were super cute. Everybody loved them. Great local store! Huge selection in small setting, good prices & small-town, friendly vibes. Staff walk floor one on one, give honest recommendations. They are knowledgeable, have fun and selection is always up to date. Craft beer section is bigger than most places. Music is always fun.. Been going here...
